Visited this site in September. Family owners gave us a warm welcome to this immaculately kept site. It's position alongside the River Dordogne and within walking distance of a reasonably sized town made for a fabulous few days break. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Pitches separated by hedges and some had mature trees which gave welcome shade. Was kerbs to drive up but didn't pose a problem.
Large market in town on Saturday and L'Eclerc supermarket a few minutes drive away for your 'big shop'.
In addition it's proximity to the vineyards of St. Emilion make it a viable alternative to the larger commercial sites in that town.
Excellent!

This is a small, friendly, family run campsite in a lovely location. We booked for 6 nights and completely enjoyed our stay. We were shown a choice of pitches and picked one overlooking the river with electric hookup and water tap at edge of the pitch. The toilet and shower facilities were good and kept very clean. There is a children's park with table tennis. The pool is small and immaculately kept and my kids played in it for many hours. Canoe/kayaking hire locally at reasonable prices. Nearby town easy to walk into for groceries and bakery.

In April of 2010 we found this site on our return to the UK from the Riveria. We felt it was an ideal break in the journey. It turned out to be much more and we stayed several days.
The site is owned by a charming English couple who were helpful, friendly and certainly made us feel very welcome.
The site is right on the bank of the Dordogne river and it is blissfully peaceful and quiet although has excellent play facilities for young children.
The facilities are spotless and everything about the site was well maintained. Just a few minutes walk away takes you to the centre of Sainte Foy La Grande a very busy small town with everything you could need. When we returned to the UK and reflected on our trip around France, Switzerland and Italy we counted our stay here as one of the highlights to such a degree that we headed straight back at the beginning of April 2011 and have just spent a fabulous week. If peace, quiet, beauty and a warm reception are to your liking then I thoroughly recommend it.

A lovely warm welcome was received as we arrived at this British-owned campsite along the banks of the Dordogne within a short walk of the town centre.
The pitches are well-laid out on attractive lawns and many have views over the river to the opposite bank. There is a slight kerb to go onto them and they have 10 amp electricity.
The toilets and showers are clean and adequate for the number of pitches. There is a swimming pool as well and most pitches have both shade and sunshine as there are small trees between them.
It is a small, friendly site and it is open from April to the end of October.

Stayed here Summer 2010. The site owners are Lancastrians and they give you a very warm welcome and look after you well during your stay. The site is small but attractive with manicured grass and plenty of trees if you need the shade.
Site cleanliness is very good, v.Safe for children and Peter really looks after the pool. The nearby village St.Foy is quiet but lively on market day, watch out you don't get fleeced by French stall holders.
Wouldn't recommend a stay of more than 5 days as St.Foy has limited appeal.
Overall we had a great time here.
