Small adults only site about 20 pitches, surrounded by trees. Next to a fairly busy road but you don't notice the road traffic noise.
Romsey is nearby with local shops and an Aldi.
The signs for the site are bit far in from the road, we went past then had to find somewhere to turn with the caravan on.
Pitches are a good size on hard standing, you can choose your own.
Plenty of taps about, 16amp hook up, no recycling. Facilities are at the far end of the site.
2 toilet blocks which are kept clean but the showers could do with bit of a facelift. There's also an outside sink.
Dog friendly, short dog walk round site.
Brilliant site, would recommend.

Very nice camp site, small amount of noise from road depending on your pitch.
If you are pitching a tent check the grass first as there is no dedicated dog walking area!
Toilet/shower block okay at far end of the site.
No cover for washing up facilities.
Would return.

This is still my “go to” campsite in this area. This time we drove 15mins into the new Forest one day then another 50 mins to Stonehenge another day.
The site is very friendly, quiet and very well kept. A 5 min walk from the site takes you into the local woods for a 1 hour circular walk, perfect for our dogs.
Adam is always a warm host ( if a little hard to find at times 😂) and sets the relaxed tone of the campsite. Lots of space between pitches and all generally flat.
I did use a device to level the caravan, but I could have easily positioned it on a different way which would have negated the use of a leveller.
It is easy to miss the entrance, but just remember it is in the dip of the hill (A3090) and you will be fine.
I will go back again later in the year. Nothing not to like here.

Nice quiet site,
Only a couple of nights but would go back,
All the facilities were clean and stocked.
Enjoyed the bird feeding table’s hanging in some of the trees, but some food out and gave us lots to watch.

This site opens year round and offers good value for money.
Easy to reach from M3 and M27.
Easy booking process via web enquiry with a speedy friendly email reply.
We stayed for a few days early season before many other sites have opened.
Well placed for trips to Romsey (walkable from site) and Winchester (handy and cheap bus Park & Ride).
The site itself has water points and electric hook ups (we were getting 3kw, no problem with tripping).
Well maintained and tidy, even in February.
Not much lighting on site at night, torch essential if you want to venture out at night. Great for star spotting.
No problems with the toilet and shower blocks, large, warm and clean.
We tend to use our onboard facilities as much as possible anyway.
Large, well spaced pitches for adults only meant a quiet stay for us.
A short walk (uphill on the way there, gravity helps you back) to the White Horse pub where we received a warm welcome and fantastic food. Open Wednesday to Sunday for the time being.
This site is definitely on the list for a return visit in warmer months.

Very spacious site. Hosted by a helpful owner.
Shower and toilets nice and clean.
Lovely area with great wild birds.
Old world pub half a mile down the road.
I will go back to the site. No food at the pub until 6pm. Beer was good.

Good clean toilets and showers.
Quiet location.
Disappointing that they don't have recycling.
Nice trees.
Seemed a bit pricey compared to club Certified Locations.

Great site: clean facilities, hot showers, quiet but friendly, adult only.
Only downside, is no specific dog exercising
Area.
More information about local footpaths and access to local woods would be great.
Internet connection not brilliant.
Will hope to return.

Liked the location as it is secluded and nice and quiet.
Disliked the disgusting state of the chemical toilet disposal, lack of recycling bins and waste water drain.
Most pitches needed levelling blocks and just some TLC for the price charged.
