This is a small, basic site just off an A road and is adult only. The outdoor part of the site is well kept, all pitches are hardstanding with a decent amount of space between them.
The site is surrounded by beautiful, old trees and whilst the A road is a busy one and there is constant road noise, it isn’t too intrusive.
As others have said, the entrance is easy to miss as the signs are quite inconspicuous. We took a close look at the entrance on Street View before setting off to familiarise ourselves with it to ensure we didn't miss it.
The toilets and showers are basically glorified Portakabins and weren’t the cleanest with cobwebs hanging down from the ceiling above the showers and shower curtains which had certainly seen better days (husband reported that the one in the gents had black mould on it) and didn’t do much to stop water flooding the floor outside the cubicle (although mops were provided to clean up).
It would have been nice to have had the usual information board detailing local walks, rights of way etc but all we could find was an old notice board with bus timetables on it.
We felt at £30 per night, the site was expensive for the standard of facilities on offer.

The space between pitches is large with a choice of pitch and orientation.
Friendly and easy going, no hassle.
Toilets are clean and it’s a very quiet site.
2 entrances one much easier the second one travelling west.

Nice flat hard standing pitch, fields very wet due to recent heavy rain,
Although close to busy road, pitches are far enough away for no noise.
The washing up facilities were not available during our stay, which only found out when went to wash up dishes.
Close to a nice pub.
Picnic benches at various points on the site will be nice in the summer

We have stayed at this great site around four times this year and I have to say I love the place as it’s nice and quiet and very well kept.
The pitches are all a good size and amenities are also cleaned regularly and kept clean.
Adam is a great guy and can’t do enough to help you.
Look forward to visiting again soon.
Mick.

We had stayed at this campsite one January a few years ago - my recollection was that it was muddy, full of pot holes and not a very good site.
We stayed here last week and admittedly the weather was really good but the site was brilliant.
The pitches were hard standing, well spaced out, pot holes filled in, toilet block clean and definitely a big improvement.
It was set well back from the main road, lots of trees and woodland and so peaceful.
We used this site as it was close to Hillier Garden and Mottisfont National Trust.
So glad we made a second visit and will be returning.

A lovely quiet, peaceful and tidy site,
The toilet facilities were clean, showers hot and overall a great little site for a getaway.
It's within a stones throw of the famous hillier gardens.
We used this site as a 1 night stop over between Kent and Cornwall, and I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Email to book was answered very quickly.
The setting within woodland was lovely, heard owls hooting at night!
The facilities were cleaned to a high standard and the showers were lovely and hot. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Ideal spot for touring Winchester and surrounding area with bus stop less than 5 mins walk from site. We visited Mottisfont House and gardens which was very interesting, lots of lovely walks around the gardens and grounds.
We visited Winchester on two occasions using the bus service which runs regularly and takes just over 20mins to get to the city centre. We stayed on the bus and went to Romsey and visited the Abbey and parks and market Square.
Will certainly return to Three Trees again.
