We have just returned from a four night break here. We were greeted by the owner who showed us to our pitch. We tow an enormously long unit but still managed to drive in as the neighbouring parking spaces were vacant allowing for a sweep in, otherwise the mover would have been essential. (The owners asked the neighbours to leave space for us to swing out on leaving too as we planned to depart early on a Sunday morning and didn't want to cause a disturbance by having difficulty leaving. )
Unfortunately we pitched too far over and were politely asked to move the next day to release some space which was a bit of a pain as the awning etc was all set up, but lesson learned, establish the exact area available before setting up.
The pub is warm and welcoming with lovely food and friendly staff.
The weather was just a bit too cold to enjoy the local walks with the dogs but we'll definitely return here for another relaxing cosy break and explore the surrounding countryside.
The only small downside was the temperature in the shower block. The weather outside didn't exceed 2 degrees over our stay and as a result the radiator in the shower room just didn't provide enough warmth for dressing, but the room was lovely and clean and the water hot.
Looking forward to heading back to the Masons Arms later in the year.

Campsite is at the back of the Masons Arms and has some hardstanding and grass pitches. I was shown to my pitch by the friendly owner and quickly parked and went to the pub for a quick pint of the beer which is brewed in the pubs micro brewery. The pub is dog friendly which was a bonus. Surrounding the site is lots of countryside with great views. The facilities on site are spotless and look very new. One issue might be that as there are only a couple of showers and toilets it might get busy when the site is full. Children will love the rabbits and other animals on site. The cost was slightly expensive (£16 per night) for one person and hook up and off season but the meal and drinks more than made up for this. Definitely worth visiting.

Excellent facilities, the cleanest toilets and washroom we've seen in some time. Grass kept short and basically a lovely campsite. My complaint is the fact that we found 3 loads of dog poop on the grass (two right next to our car by the electric hook up!). Not sure if this was from the owners 3 dogs who are kept in kennels on the site or one of the campers. Owner very dog friendly, a plus for dog owners. The other downside is the tight turn into the site, particularly for larger units.

Wonderful in every way. We stayed overnight in our VDub campervan and I can say the camping facilities are the best I have experienced.
Brand new facilities building built in sympathetic country style serving the 8 hookup pitches, made it feel more like a 'camping hotel' rather than a rainy July night.
Add to that a great pub with its own brewery and super food, oh and a very warm welcome with nothing being too much trouble.
Camping and Caravan Club certified status ensure that users respect the beautiful setting.
What more could you want. Oh, there is more.
Set around you are vegetable plots which provide a sense of a really lovely setting utilising the land in providing the great food. Fantastic! Brilliant!

We stayed here in june for two nights. We love this site, have been here quite a few times. Made to feel very welcome by the owners and our three dogs always get a warm welcome.
Facilities are excellent should you wish to use them.
Lovely walks which we make full use of. The food in the pub is top quality, we ate there just once, this time. It is very pricey and always busy.
There are village shops and more pubs in the next village and a petrol station. Yeovil is a few minutes drive away, and there you have all the major supermarkets, should you need to stock up on supplies.
This is a very friendly site, value for money. We will certainly be returning.
