Nice site, gets grossly overcrowded at main holidays especially as there are only 5 old toilets per gender. Split into two fields one for tents one for caravans with a row of statics ( mainly tourers )in between with one particularly nice old one. Owners are friendly and helpful but do not live on site which means after they have gone home the rules re. Dogs noise etc. are not enforced. Pub good but expensive. Best thing are the views.

A very sweet campsite with lots of space, I can't imagine it becoming too crowded. Facilities are basic, but very clean, and the surrounding countryside beautiful with everything in easy reach. Showers are charged at 30p and freezing cooling elements at 5p which could be included in the overall rate. Will definitely be back!

Is was our 3rd stay on this site this year after stumbling across it by accident, I love this site the toilets are always clean but unlit. There is 1 gents shower and 3 ladies showers so there can be a queue in the morning. The owners are very helpful and at 9pm it has always been very peaceful ideal for a good nights sleep

Home Farm is a lovely peaceful site which I do like, its toilets and showers are always clean and the two sisters who run Home Farm, I find them to be always friendly and helpful. I am looking forward to visiting again this year and I would definatly recommend this site to anyone who enjoys a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

September 2005 A great little site with clean, well-maintained toilets and showers, a couple of swings for the kids and a friendly atmosphere. It's old-fashioned camping with no on-site supermarket or bar but there's a nice pub in the village which is just a short stroll away. It's very quiet because it's off the main road and there are great views of the hills all around. It's in a bit of a dip so it can be misty in the mornings but it clears quickly. Hive Beach, run by the National Trust is down the road (five minutes by car) but I'd head out to West Bay (fifteen minutes) for two cracking little beaches and a small harbour. I'll definitely be back.

May 2004 What a wonderful site set in the middle of nowhere, but not too far from any activity you can imagine! Everything the other reviewers have said is true, except I didn't notice a lack of loo roll and found the proprietors extremely friendly and helpful. One word of warning - if you are a caravanner and do not have 4 wheel drive, make sure you do not stop driving up the hill until you have reached the first caravanning field. We unfortunately did, and our Rover could not get a grip on the gravel to start off again. (Luckily the site was full of friendly knights in shining 4 wheel drive vehicles, one of whom towed us out of our predicament). We will be going back, and soon.

August 2003 We have just returned from 8 nights camping at Home Farm. It is a lovely site, just what we like. There is probably approximately 50 pitches max for tents in one field with a small shower / toilet block in the corner, and a seperate field for caravans. Most pitches are level and there are a couple of swings in the middle of the field for the kids to hang out around. The propieters weren't the most friendly we've ever met but were very efficient. The site is clean and well maintained (although occasionally without toilet paper!). Showers are token operated and cost 30p for 7 minutes, although basic they were always clean. The site is in a lovely village which has a great pub serving good food reasonably priced. The most inconvienient thing about the site is that the village has no shop. Milk and gas (and eggs if the chickens have laid!)is available from the farm house between 9:30-10:30 in the morning which was always a bit late for us, and what we always needed most was bread which wasn't available. That said, we are already planning our trip for next year. The area is absolutely stunning with masses to do and we would definately recommend this very reasonably priced site.
