Not much to add except to agree with the other reviews that this is a fantastic site.
We are a family with 3 children under 11 and they loved the space and the play area. Also, there's only one gate out, so if you had younger children it would feel quite safe too. There was a nice mix of people on the site (ages & stages / tents & motorhomes) and although our boys are a bit noisy we didn't feel too bad (!) as the pitches are so spread out.
Facilities are great - 2 showers rooms with toilets and a separate toilet too. The shower rooms have enough space so you can go in to help the children if needed and were always clean. We had to wait a short time on a couple of occasions as the site was full, but it wasn't a problem. The area for washing up was also clean and modern and the washing machine came in handy too. The owners are really helpful and always available without being intrusive. There's plenty to do in the area, although the site is quite remote so most things are a bit of a drive.
An added bonus is the lack of light pollution: I had to get up in the middle of one night and it happened to be very clear - the last time I saw so many stars I was in Africa - totally amazing!

If you want a relaxing break away from the everyday rat race n just totally chill out then we highly recommend this site. This was our first visit to this site and it won't be the last. Ralph and Ann are two most welcoming people and nothing seems to much trouble. The showering and toilet facilities are spotlessly clean which everyone whilst we were there were also impressed with. Both Ralph and Ann are
A mind of local information on the area on what is going on around. There's plenty of local information in the form of leaflets/brochures for all to browse through or take away on site. The local town of Plouguenast is approx a mile away with a supermarket which we walked to each time and there is a great footpath/walk along the edge of the river through the trees to an old water mill. There is another water mill within walking distance which we unfortunately didn't have time to visit. All in all, a well organised, very clean small site perfectly situated for a quiet relaxing stay.

Visited Pinabre for a weeks holiday. The site is a bit remote ( a good point) and due to the fact it only allows six pitches when it could handle a lot more there is plenty of space. The toilet block has two rooms which contains toilet, shower and sink which is great and due to low quantity of pitches are never busy.
Never been to such a relaxed site. Ralph and Ann are very helpful and always at hand but let you get on with relaxing.
One night they organised a few beers and nibbles for everyone if you wanted to join in and we all met up and sat enjoying the evening until it went dark.
Local town is just over a mile away with a supermarket and fuel. Moncontour (medieval town) is ten minutes away with a great bakery and restaurants.
The coast is around 1 hours drive with some great walks and beaches.
Dinan is around an hour away with shopping and port with great restaurants.
In terms of sites, probably the best site for relaxation I have ever been too. Spotlessly clean and helpful. Highly recommend ended. We will be back.

A beautiful remote CL style site with lots of space. The first class facilities could not have been cleaner. This was the first time I had ever used a shower or washing machine on site as I am particularly fussy. No worries here! Ann and Ralph were excellent hosts and even arranged an impromptu get together with the other campers one evening. The only downside for us was the lack of restaurants within walking distance for our evening meal as we like to alternate cooking in the van with dining out.

This site is fantastic! There's little we can add to what's already been said about this site, and we can't add any criticisms constructive or otherwise because it's perfect!
Showers were the best we've come across, always plenty hot water, grounds were beautiful, nice area for children to play with bats balls etc. Ralph and Ann know how to run this site and you can tell they were caravanners themselves as they've put so much thought into it, there's everything you need but more importantly you're made to feel welcome.
The area is lovely, we loved Dinan Lamballe in fact we just liked the whole area. There's Lidle Aldi Super you and plenty more super markets all within 10 minuets drive. Don't hesitate to visit this site.
We haven't got children so can't rate this but the children that we met there loved it.

This site suited us perfectly. We do not like hard standing and regimented plots separated by hedges, or noisy children in swimming pools, or snack bars and entertainment. We loved the relaxed informality of Ralph and Ann’s beautifully tended site with wonderful facilities, peace and quiet and a warm welcome. The local area has much to offer. We visited some wonderful historic buildings set in fine gardens just a few miles away. The local village has a great supermarket with fresh milk, a good bread shop and a pharmacy. The coast is less than an hour’s drive. We found more than enough to keep us happy for our whole stay. Ralph and Ann have set a new benchmark which we’ll use to judge every other site we visit. Thanks for a great stay.

Brilliant and thoroughly deserving of its 10 star rating. Situated in the centre of Brittany in a very quiet and safe rural area away from main roads it is ideal for reaching all parts of Brittany in a day. The site is a landscaped field surrounded by pine and oak trees giving shelter from the glorious sunshine when required. All facilities as listed are correct. The showers are built into the old farm house and are of a standard way beyond any thing we have seen on other sites with loo, handbasin, hand towels, bodywash and flannels provided. These facilities are cleaned and changed every day keeping them spotless and your clothes dry.
The hosts Ann and Ralph are charming and will go out of their way to ensure your stay will be the best you have ever had.
So book early if you don't want to miss out on such a lovely experience as we and many many others have had.
We were also shown the GITE done Breton style again to a very high standard.
Everyone we have met have told Ann and Ralph not to change a thing. This is camping at its best.
Pam, Brendan and Bella(dog).

We first visited this fantastic little site in 2012, since then we've visited every year.
It is a little gem, that has everything our family could wish for. It is a relaxing, peaceful site in the Brittany countryside with just the noise of the local owls at night.
The pitches are big, with good electric supply. Facilities are 2 shower rooms with toilets and basins and a separate toilet if you don't require the shower, all kept in excellent condition. There is a washing up area with plenty of hot water. Also a washing machine for a small payment.
The owners are lovely and can't do enough to help if you require it. They keep the site immaculate and make you feel so welcome. They also freeze your freeze blocks free of charge, as well as allowing you use of their wifi free of charge.
There is a play area for children which holds a badminton net and rackets, boules and other outside toys.
There is also a gite there which can be hired for family and friends who want to come with you but don't camp or caravan.
Personally our family cant wait to return next summer!

Very impressed with this site. There is a real sense of freedom here as there is so much space. There are two toilets/shower rooms that are extremely clean and a washing machine and a sink for washing up. The wi-fi works well near the house where there are garden chairs set out for the guests.
Lamballe is well worth a visit on market day and we had moules and frites in Pleneuf-Val-Andre.
Ralph and Ann are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The site itself is rural and peaceful, but still very near to supermarkets and village shops. It is an ideal site for being near to St. Malo.

A peaceful beautiful well maintained site. Ralph and Anne were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We prefer quiet sites and this was perfect. There were a few families staying and there was space for them to play without affecting the tranquility of the site. Very impressive bathroom facilities. Will definitely stay again
