Just had ten days on this site. 9 days of hot weather which always makes things better, but all in all a fantastic time had by all. Great facilities, helpful staff, clean and tidy, not overcrowded. Great location to get to all local attractions. Well done andrewshayes and thanks for a great holiday, see you next year

May 2005 Just had five day bank holliday break at this site. This site earns 10 out of 10 from my family and me. The site is well run - the hosts and their staff are more than helpful. They escort you to your pitch and even pitch your van if you let them. Toilet blocks are clean. Showers are more than adequate. C.D.P. basic but clean. Bar quaint. Bistro good selection of meals. Pool clean.

August 2004 First impression of the site were lovely considering it is located directly below the main road to exeter. Site is sloping in all three touring fields but we were lucky enough to get a pitch on the tiered section, so we had a level pitch. These are few and far between due to the static tourers taking up alot of the allocated electric hook up pitches.
The swimming pool was terriffic but COLD and eaily accessible to our inquisitive toddler who thought she'd like a dip every second she could sneak off and explore. The childrens play area was also very well equipped but most of the equipment catered for older children where as we have two under fives we felt due to being on the 3rd teir up we couldnt relax and let the kids have fun due to the risks of falling, drowning or getting knocked over by a car due to the road running along side the childrens play area.
The facilities were extremely pleasant, clean and easily accessible for family showering etc. Reasonably priced for its location, size and amenities.

Aug 1999, Aug 2000, Aug 2001 This is an excellent site that we have always used as a stopover en route to Cornwall, but it is well deserving of a longer stay. The toilet/shower facilities are among the best I have encountered and were new when we first visited (1999). The on site bar and restaurant is wonderful, great meals and with a conservatory overlooking the pool. The only minor gripes are that the site is sloping, but on our last visit they were in the process of terracing the pitches. Also that the site shop is small and only stocks basics. There are many places to visit nearby, our favourite of which is Lyme Regis.
