A site with awesome views. The surrounding area is great, the beaches in Seaton and Beer are pebbly rather than sandy, but a great place to run the dog and 4 children. Park on the seafront in Seaton out of season for free. A ride on the Seaton Tram is not to be missed. The highlight of our Easter weekend was a visit to Escot Park near Ottery St Mary (www.Escot-devon.Co.Uk).
The site itself is exposed and on a very steep hill. The walk from the top terrace to the toilet block, dog walk and children's playground is not for the unfit; in the rain I slipped twice flat on my back! The toilet block and children's play area are functional but dated.
The shop and booking in area was only open for a couple of hours in the morning (probably as we were right at the start of the season), they were quite happy when I didn't have cash or a cheque to wait until the following day.
On the top terrace the side near the hedge is best, we were unfortunately on the other side of the road in a pitch (number 10 by the tree) that was too small for our 6-berth. We had to park our car a few pitches down.

We have just returned from a 2-night stay here. The site was in a good location and had a great view down to the sea. The facilities were good and kept clean and there was always hot water and no wait. Very reasonably priced and helpful staff. Can recommend it. We were on the 'middle' terrace. Fairly slopped site, but managed to get round it without a problem.

We stayed here during the last week of August and enjoyed the best weather of the summer. We were pitched along the top row with a field behind us and fantastic views to the front. The site was uncrowded and quiet. Showers, toilets, sinks all kept clean and pleasant to use. The shop stocked free range eggs which could also be bought from the information office which is always open using an honesty box - lovely bacon & eggs each morning. The play area was filled with all sorts of equipment, the sandpit being our daughters favourite. It seems quite a distance from the town so we used the car - didn't fancy the uphill walk back! We missed the morning collection of eggs but one look at my daughters tearful blue eyes and the farmer kindly took her in to see the miniature ponies & other animals and she managed to find a quails egg. We'll certainly be coming here again!

We stayed for 3 days and pitched adjacent to the kids playground. Kids loved the playground and true to the camp rules it emptied out at 9pm, so no late disturbances. Facilities always clean and never experienced any queues for showers. Excellent views and well stocked petrol station nearby and Seaton town within walking distance. Would definitely revisit.

A very clean site approched from a lane/driveway off the main seaton rd. The pitches on one side are sloping and the other are flatish with a fairly steep bank after that. Ground is made up on one side so stones can be felt when peging out so a good quality peg or rock peg would help. The farmer(tim) was very friendly and loved to involve the kids in feeding the annimals. Toilet blocks were clean but maybe a little outdated, water pressure was low at times for the showers. Some rather steep walks to and from the toilet blocks as well so not ideal if you are less able bodied. The electric pitches along the top could suffer a bit in very windy conditions although we had fairly dry stay the day of arrival was wet and our pitch was still soft on departure. The view from this site is wonderfull of the axe valley and the sea it self. All the kids enjoyed the parks playground and respected the rules .

We stayed here 31st May 2007 for 3 nights. We pitched on the top terrace which was very level & had the most amazing views over the Axe valley. A limited number of EHU pitches were available. The toilet/shower block was very clean with ample units(free hot water)& a coin operated hairdryer. The utility room incorporated laundry & dish washing facilities. Shop very basic but 1 mile away in Seaton town centre is a large Co op which allows 1.5hrs free parking. Nice children's play area. Tim, the owner, was very friendly & took the children around the farm area, where he supervised them feeding ducks, collecting eggs etc., Ample water points. Dog friendly. We would definitely return here.

This was our first visit to Seaton. The camp site was just as described, the views are terrific and the family on site are very welcoming. The site itself is very well drained and the shower/toilet blocks were always kept clean with plenty of hot water. Seaton is abot a 15-20 min walk away as is the beach on the road route, a very clean town with plenty of shops to wander around. The surrounding towns of Beer, Branscombe, Lyme Regis are all well worth a visit, very picturesque. Would fully recommend

Visited this excellent campsite with relatives during the really hot spell of weather. Views are terrific, pitches are level and all facilities are clean and user friendly. The owner is really friendly and laid-back, with a great little farm area for the kids (my 20 month old loved James the turkey in particular!). Would recommend this site wholeheartedly if you like peace and quiet. We will be back.

Friendly welcome to a spacious site. Limited number of touring electric pitches, but very large camping field. Largely permanent caravans means facilities aren't crowded. Well cleaned. Free warm showers, but did cut out due to electric problems. Quiet at night apart from some road noise - but not a problem. A good family site with large simple playpark. Site dogs free to wander - so look out for little gifts. Some nice views of the Axe valley and sea. Handy for Beer and Seaton (Seaton Hole recommended for bathing)

Great site run by really friendly, helpful people. Amazing views over the axe valley. Lovely clean hot showers. Owners happy to let children help collect the eggs in the morning. Seaton shops and beach about a 20 minute walk away(nice family friendly pubs in town) or plenty of parking if you don't fancy the walk. Only downside is the site is on a wicked slope and there is only limited terracing for tents. All in all if you can live with camping on a steep old hill this site is well worth a visit.
