Wow. This is a fabulous site. The owner met us as we arrived and could not be any nicer. Gave us lots of info of the area, maps of area, what's going on and advised best bits of site although we could choose.
I'm not going to go on too much but could.
Beautiful site
Great owner
Fantastic facilities (maybe could do with more for campers and a bit far?)
Pods look great
Fires can be hired
Right next to mere
Good price

Don't think about this site. Do it. You will not be disappointed.
Only problem I had. I struggled to find elsan point. I did eventually. To left corner as you come in.
I'm a newbie at the caravanning milarky, tent in past, and was worried regarding access through country lanes and getting in.
A short mid sized country lane needs to be accessed, 1mile?, and entrance is wide although it concerned me, that may of been my apprehension though.

This brand newly built site offers everything that you would need for
A relaxing holiday under canvas and was made even more inviting during my recent stay by the attention to detail and excellent customer service given by the lovely owners. Nothing was too much trouble for them; even calling round to each camper to ask if we would like anything from Ellesmere as the owner was on his way out there. The design, layout and specification of this site is one that some of the more established sites should aspire to be like. The shower blocks were beautiful and cleaned regularly. Bins continually emptied around the site and the outdoor kitchen is a great idea. With all the items needed to enhance your camping experience including leaflets and maps of places to visit and lots of local takeaway menus which can be phoned and delivered to you, just in case you fancy a break from cooking. It also provided a great meeting place to chat and have a drink with other travellers or to just relax and listen to the piped music 24/7. At the bottom of the wide open fields there is a stye that takes you through the woods to the lake and a walk-maps provided by owners- to take you to Ellesmere along the tow-path.
I managed to have a look inside the pods, oh they were magnificent and definitely on my to-do list. I can't recommend this site enough and I will definitely return soon.

Just returned from this little gem of a site perfectly situated in a country lane in Shropshire, with the camping field overlooking the surrounding woodland of Colemere. Firstly upon arrival we were met in the car park by Ingrid the owner who I have to say is lovely and so helpful she told us to pitch anywhere there was an ehu and we did in the lovely field where there were 2 beautifully crafted pods so much bigger and nicer than any we have seen with leather sofa beds and tv's wood floors and full size french doors.
The site is pretty well thought out, with ample size pitches, clever ehu points with a tap on the other side, a beautiful purpose built communal area decked and covered with electric, a sink, work space, a fridge, a kettle lovely lighting and even a jumbo hand crafted table and benches for at least 10 people. This adult only site is going to be very popular it's facilities are as nice as those at home with all the finishing touches these people have really gone to extremes to make sure all the campers were happy and comfortable during their stay the site is peaceful and pretty and I think will become a firm favourite of ours despite the weather we had the first day. Walking around the area is a must and dogs loved it here, we forgot our airbed so they loaned us a beanie bed for the 2 nights for which we are very grateful thank you Ingrid and Dave for making us welcome we will see you soon. There is nothing to improve on at this site.
