 Pleasant, low key but friendly site. Quiet with no frills but reasonable toilets and showers and a small play area for children. Lovely village, pub and shop - you feel miles from anywhere and yet you are only minutes from all the Thanet resorts.
The sign outside did say that there was a shop on site but this was either very well hidden or no longer in existence - did not in any way spoil our enjoyment.

My husband, my children (aged 5 and 18 months) and I really love this campsite, although the only facilities are toilets, showers (separate male and female) and play area for the kids. The toilets are well kept, they are warm and clean. The site is a real back to basics site set in a nice little village approx 6 miles from margate-which you can reach by bus or car. The village has a nice pub and a local reasonably priced shop. This campsite is really well priced, a real bargain. We have returned to this campsite almost every year since 1998.

An open field site in a charming and picturesque village only a few miles from the sea. Management of the site is refreshingly relaxed, although when this extends to the frequency of cleaning the toilets, it is not so refreshing. Amenities are basic and, when the site is busy, overstretched.
