Access to the site is slightly problematic due to limited signage down a rough track (especially after a long and tiring journey); however the warm and friendly greeting at reception soon redresses this minor problem!
The large 212 pitch site is located less than a mile from the delightful pretty town centre which can be accessed on foot by the privately owned Cirencester Park (access allowed between 8am – 5pm) or using the footpath running by the side of the A419.
Lots to do and see in Cirencester including the New Brewer Arts centre (holding a Grayson Perry exhibition at the time of our visit) and the Corinium Museum with Roman artefacts. Cotswold Water Park is located 5 (easily cycle able) miles South of the site with numerous water based activities on hand.
Cirencester’s ‘four roundabouts’ (the roundabouts on the ring road around Cirencester) provide home to Waitrose, Lidl, Aldi and Tesco supermarket’s, and the town itself has an M&S simply food local shops and a large number of interesting eateries and pubs.
Two recently refurbished (to the usual high C&MC standard) large toilet blocks provide adequate facilities for the site, that has twice weekly evening caterers (Pizza Alfresco offering freshly made pizza’s on Thursdays, and Fish & Chips with gourmet burgers on Fridays). Wi-Fi is available, but (as with the TV reception) is hampered by the mature trees that abound the site on some of the pitches.
Only stayed for 4 nights, but could easily stayed much longer as the location has so much to offer - highly recommend this very friendly site.

We made a last minute booking for this site. Chose a nice pitch on the edge of the site.
It was quite a trek to the facilities which were kept to a high standard. Site is down a lane shared with the local college.
Fine as we arrived on a Sunday but very busy during the rest of our stay.
Lovely walk into Cirencester through the park. Unfortunately it had been raining heavily so our golden retriever did not stay clean even though we stuck to the paths.
The walk along the road into town was fine. Wardens were very pleasant and helpful. A nice site and easy walk into the town.

Great site in a great location.
Just over 200 pitches, the majority hard standing, but still with plenty of grass pitches available, it being a large site. All pitches have electric hook-up. Plenty of showers/toilets/cubicle sinks, housed within two separate blocks. All facilities very modern and clean.
Dishwashing sinks, laundry, T. V. And wifi available. Reception sell a few basics. Very friendly and helpful wardens.
Next door to the Bathurst estate (open 8a. M. To 5p. M. ) which you can walk through into Cirencester itself, or go around along a cycle/footpath. Both take about 15 minutes.
Cirencester, a very nice town, with pubs, shops, places to eat etc. Would highly recommend a visit.

Cirencester Caravan Club site is a very large (200+ pitches) immaculately kept site,
The majority of pitches are hardstanding with a grass area towards the top, quite a few pitches are slightly sloping so levelling ramps are suggested for Motorhomes,
The site is set in mature woodland on the edge of the Bathurst private estate which allows access through the estates park into the town center between 8am & 5pm,
A lovely 20 minute stroll and your in the picturesque Cotswold town with an array of shops, pubs, restaurants and a very impressive church, we had an excellent meal in the Golden Cross pub, quality food, real ale and reasonably priced.
Back to the site, the wardens were efficient & friendly and the 2 large toilet & shower blocks were modern & clean,
Terrestrial TV signal is nonexistent but there are TV hook ups on all EHUs.
We will definitely return.

This is a very clean site with shade and a few open spaces.
The toilet/shower blocks are immaculate, warm and spacious.
It was half term, so lots of children were using the play areas. There was a noisy swing which was oiled the day we left. There is an off site field for ball games and also one for dog walkers.
It is (approx) 20 minutes walk to Cirencester through a private park into the centre of the town. Cirencester is a lovely town with open park, ancient church and small interesting streets, and plentiful restaurants.

Used this as a stopover going and coming home, stayed for 1 night each time. The standard of this site is what you expect from a Caravan Club site. Shower/Wc block kept spotless as was the site in general. The wardens are very helpful and friendly, even though it was a busy bank holiday.
Lovely walk through the park into town be aware that the park gates close at 5pm, you then have to walk back by the road.
We will be going back for a longer stay.

This is an excellent site. It is large, 200+ pitches, and busy but the wardens keep it immaculate. There are plenty of showers and plenty of hot water. Cirencester is a gem of a town only 1. 5 miles walk. However, don't miss out on the walks in the area, which is beautiful. We did two walks, both as it happens from the AA website:
Walk 1: Woven Charm of Bibury, 6. 3 miles. Ablington is a wonderful village en-route, but the walk after the village is a delight. Quiet with grand scenery. The Cartwright Inn in Bibury does wonderful fish and chips!
Walk 2: Around Chedworth Roman Villa, 4. 5 miles, the Seven Tuns pub is a good place to start. The walk starts quite steeply but soon follows a beautiful river valley to the NT Roman Villa. Do take the guide tour.
A lovely stay, thank you the wardens.

We were en route from Scotland to the South of England so we used this site as a stopover & only stayed one night but will definitely be back.
The welcome was friendly & the campsite has nice new facilities & is a short walk into Cirencester which is a gem & well worth a visit.

We stayed here at Easter and had a lovely stay and will return. The site itself is the usual Caravan Club standard, immaculate, helpful wardens, small shop, but I think the location is the real selling point.
A short walk across a field and you're in the beautiful Cirencester Park and another 10 minutes takes you into the town itself, with lots of places to eat, independent shops etc.
What you'd expect from a Cotswold town.
Definitely recommended.

We are members of the CC and have stayed at numerous CC sites. This one is as good as all the others.
Facilities were spotless as usual. Wood oven pizzas on a Thursday night made and cooked as you wait.
Pleasant walk into town through the Parkland, but gates shut at 17. 00 so if returning later will have to walk alongside the road. This is no problem however.
irencester is a lovely town with numerous hostelries and restaurants. Can recommend the Cote Brasserie.
