Everything was great from booking, arriving and being greeted by Victoria, choosing our pitch and chatting with Victoria’s Dad.
A very relaxed site with no strict rules, lots of space for children to play. We enjoyed seeing the geese, chickens and stunning Cockerels roaming around the site, not forgetting Wilma the family dog who loves a game of football.
The weather was superb and we were able to enjoy the outside space, have bbq’s and totally relax.
On our last day Victoria gave us free range eggs which are delicious and very much appreciated. Her Dad also came to chat with us before we left - a very nice personal touch which you don’t get on much larger sites.
We will definitely return to Sunnyside- which lived up to its name during our stay. Thanks Victoria and all the family for being so friendly and caring.

10/10. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sunnyside. The family owners could not do enough for us. Even gave us fresh eggs for breakfast from the free range chickens.
£23 a night including electric and no charge for awnings, what not to moan about. Option of grass or hard standing. About a 15 minute walk to the prom. About 5 mile of prom. So ideal to take bikes. We walked both directions taking in the huge expanse of the bay.
Money has been well spent on the front at Morecambe making it worth a visit. We had a great time and enjoyed every minute.

Clean, friendly, easy to find site.
All covid safety measures in place.
Ideal base to get to morecambe.
No play area for the children but plenty of space for them to run about.

Well what can I say!
We stayed at this site for 2 nights
We new the bad wind and rain that was forecast but couldn’t let this put us off as the kids were so excited to go
We packed wellies and waterproofs and hoped for the best
The kids absolutely loved it there was loads of room for them to play
The site was very safe and we all loved feeding the ducks!
Toilets were cleaned regular and reduced to two people at a time that was great as it meant they weren’t over crowded,
Fantastic little down to earth site
See you next year peeps!

We found the site to be lovely and flat and when we arrived there were very few tents and caravans on the field which was a joy to us not having to level our caravan.
It was lovely to have visits from the chickens and ducks and to see then freely wondering around.
Victoria was very helpful on our arrival and let us choose our spot. We found all of the family to be helpful. The facilities were clean and this was continually carried out. Appreciating that this was extreme circumstances due to to virus many of the cubicles were closed but this didn't seem to be a problem for the number of people staying at the weekend when the site was busier.
In all a lovely little site that I would be happy to stay at in the future when we visit the area.

We have just spent the weekend here and can only say it was a great little site. We had three tents altogether with young children, it was clean, spacious, loads of room for games, there was a cricket game on when we arrived to give you an idea of the space. It was a safe space with hardly any cars moving so great for kids and dogs to roam free.
Toilet and shower area was very clean, the owner was in there every time I went In, cleaning and mopping away. Only one shower in use due to social distancing but I didn’t see a queue at any time.
We booked last minute so didn’t get electric so was a bit worried but the owners couldn’t have been more accommodating, plugging the phones in their office for us all day long. Nothing was to much, they even supplied us with wood when we asked where the shop was so we could buy some.
Location was great, 20 mins walk to the beach front, loads of supermarkets nearby, local pub and only ten minute drive to Lancaster.
No rushing to leave the site, we were told to take our time and leave when we wanted to, what more could you ask for.
10/10 from us!
P. S if the owners would invest in a tea/ coffee machine I’m sure they’d make a bit of extra cash, as we had no electric my hubby needed his morning coffee fix 😊😊
