Very helpful friendly owners amazing views toilets and showers spotless.

Great pub in the village about a mile walk but it has a footpath. If you get a roast get a regular one as I ordered the large it was massive couldn't possibly eat it all.

Spring willows caravan park just near the site allows visitors into the bar. It's an easy walk and a footpath.

The only downside is the noise from a recycling plant from 7. 30 to the afternoon but not of a weekend. However this wouldn't put us off staying there again.

Excellent site. Toilets and showers great. Plenty of loo rolls in toilets. Close to Scarborough Filey and Bridlington.

Great for visiting North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Ideal for couples. George and Pauline go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay.

Would highly recommend this site.

 Lovely quiet site,

Tricky left turn better to approach from the right if you are a long van.

Very friendly helpful owner.

1200kw goes further than you think!

Lovely small campsite, with horse fields either side, clean toilets and shower. Fantastic pub The Foxhound, within walking distance serving lovely food and a Morrisons supermarket.

The couple who run The Jays are very friendly and welcoming. The electric is on a pay as you use which is a really good idea. The Jays is very near to Cayton Bay, and close enough to reach Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington.

The only reason I didn't give the site 10/10 due to not having hot water on the sink outside to wash up and no recycle bin.

Would definitely return.

Nice to be able to leave a review as this site is now on 'Uk Campsites'. Been visiting for a few years now. Lovely little site.

The owners, George and Pauline always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

There are two toilets and one shower spotlessly clean. EHU and elsan disposable point with water tap at the toilet block. £14 per night and pay for the electric you use. Dog friendly. Gently sloping field and drains very well, 'no getting stuck on this ground'.

Morrisons supermarket 3 miles down the road. Coastal resorts to the North and East. North Yorkshire Moors and the City of York to the West, all within easy driving distance.

The Foxhounds inn is 15 minutes walk and the Spittal inn within 5 minutes. Both serve good food and beer at affordable prices. Plenty of room for your unit.

Yes. Definitely will be going back time and time again.

Excellent little site. Very quiet. Lovely views. Pauline and George fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

Toilets and showers are spotlessly clean.

Not a site for children as there is nothing for them but ideal for couples who just want a peaceful break.
