Great Little campsite. Very close to the village. Basic amenities which I was aware of but a good farm shop and friendly staff.

Nice and quiet at night and good views of Mam Tor.

Woken up at 7am by some prats playing techno but not the site's fault as it was designed for adults and quiet.

Would definitely return.

Toilets were clean, had a great on site shop, staff were very funny and friendly, great price.

Lovely surrounding views.

However, the cars and vans far outnumbered the tents making it feel a bit like a car park in a field.

But for a tenner no complaints.

Did not see or use a shower.

£5 per car.

Lovely site and close walking distance to village centre. However, you're paying for location and not amenities.

2 toilets which is not enough for the number of people staying and always a queue. No showers.

I felt it was very overpriced. It's not somewhere I'd stay again.

Fairly basic facilities no showers or wifi but clean and tidy. Two toilets and washbasins in separate compartments of one cabin.

Major plus was very closely situated to village centre, walking took five minutes.

Friendly reception and layout of parking areas well spaced

Lovely site on the edge of castleton village with fabulous views of the surrounding hills.

Jo was great with communication and very friendly.

Facilities are basic but very clean and better than we expected.

Quiet overnight even though the site was quite busy with people making the most of the weather.

Nice to be able to park there on the day of leaving too.

 Perfect. Clean and simple.

3 very clean and comfortable toilet and sink rooms.

Wide field to park or pitch on.

Left to our own devices. No problems. People very polite and friendly when we did speak to them.

5 mins away from the village. Plenty of cafes, shops, and pubs. Very close to hiking routes.

Was about 5 campervans and 2 tents when we went.

 Lovely pop up campsite.

Really central to castleton so was able to. Park the car up. And have a few drinks without someone having to drive. Lovely owner very easy going.

Toilets were clean and well maintained.

The only downside was no shower facilities which we knew before we arrived so. It wasn't a problem really.

Very quiet site with great views we will be returning!

Oh what a gem of a site - ring beforehand to check availability. Working farm with lovely friendly animals - bit of goat poo but of course it’s a working farm !

Photos wouldn’t do it justice - very quiet and peaceful -

Amazing and stunning views of Loosehill, Mam Tor, Peveril castle, Winnets pass - basic facilities but a very short stroll to centre of castleton where there’s plenty of pubs -

Will be going again so lovely xx
