Agree with all previous comments a very nice site with very nice people running it and an interesting collection of laying hens in the field next door.
The bus is infrequent but reliable and not cheap unless you have a pass.
The local pub is the Grapes which seems to be a bit hit and miss and the cask beer is far too cold!
Got bus to Pickering and then on steam railway to Whitby which is a must.
Did the same to Scarborough which is not so nice but Castle worth a visit and the Scarborough Arms just down the road from it!
To sum up a well located site for all sorts of things.

A little Gem, and the owners were very welcoming, the only down fall I had was there was no WiFi, it was limited to the bottom part of the field near the house, but every think else was 100%, the toilets & showers were very clean, lots of hot water, and its not one of them little money grabing 20p slot showers, over all GREAT PLACE - GREAT PEOPLE

This is a adult only site we have returned to it as we liked it so much last year. It is based in a quiet village called ebberston there are no shops there is a pub within 10 mins walk. Buses stop outside the site, it is roughly halfway between pickering and scarborough. The toilets and washroom and one shower are very clean, there is a disabled toilet and wash room as well they hire out 3 cottages. The site itself is very pleasant it was a orchard and all the plots are hardstanding as well as a good area of grass for sitting outside there was room for 12 units or so. A lot of people return it is very peacful. Covered area for washing pots.
Water tap on pitches. 40 mins to scarborough on bus. Plenty of walking areas and within driving distance of moors and whitby 10 mile to pickering.
at £17 per night was well worth it. The owners are very nice and pleasant.

We have just spent 5 nights at this little gem of a site.
Just 8 caravans on this Adults Only site, very peaceful, extremely clean and well looked after, lovely owners. Hard standing, own water supply on each pitch, well looked after grass, and lovely views over the Vale of Pickering.
Everyone we met was very friendly, and it is an ideal place for touring the area, within easy reach of the moors and the coastal towns.
I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful location but within reach all the tourist attractions North Yorkshire has to offer.

1st time we've been to this site and we made a good choice. We were welcomed by very pleasant owners when we arrived. We were showed to our pitch which was hard standing. The site had a lovely set out and was very peaceful. The toilets were very clean and the shower was hot and clean.
Thornton le Dale and Pickering are nice places to visit and not far away by car. Would definitely recommend this site. Note this is adults only site
