Our first visit and won’t be our last.
The toilets and shower are in a portable cabin but very clean.
The orchard was a lovely grassy field with hard standing and was so peaceful and quiet.
There is a pub about 10 minutes walk and the village is so pretty with a stream running through it.
The campsite is behind a house on the Main Street through the village.
Andrew the owner is very friendly and helpful and will help out if any problems or issues.
No shop in the village, nearest in Thornton le Dale.
If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful location this is the place to come

Immaculate, quiet site in a lovely village with a pub within walking distance, what more could you want.
We have stayed here before and will return soon.
There is a bus service from the village to Scarborough, Pickering & Hemsley.
Mobile fish and chips visit weekly and the local pub, serving food, is only 5 mins walk away.
Friendly, helpful owners, make this site a delight.

Brilliant place to stay, very quiet, immaculate surroundings,
Lovely village, great dog walks…
Andrew is lovely, friendly and approachable as are his parents…
We didn’t use the pub (within walking distance) but will go there again, with that in mind…
Nice and central for all sorts of places….
Key for us, was the peace and quiet…lovely.

Andrew couldn't have done more to keep people's booked holidays over the Easter period, despite torrential rain for 24 hrs just before the holiday weekend.
The site, (among others in the area, ) experiencing flooding/soft ground. Good job he had a tractor to help tow stuck vehicles/caravans from the hard standing across the grass.
Even installing at short notice plastic grids to stop heavy vehicles sinking in to the grass in a new area. Total 9 out of 10 due to there always being room for improvement.
There are more pitches than the original one field, now over two areas, not just the orchard field. Due to this increase, I feel another toilet / shower block may be needed in high season, at my visit one gents toilet, one ladies toilet and one unisex shower.
The facilities are in a portacabin which is adequate but obviously very cold in certain weather conditions as no heating which is fine if you're prepared, (campers are always prepared. )
Facilities kept spotlessly clean, even in bad weather conditions, to a very high standard. Shower is great, we especially liked the bifold shower door which is 100% improvement on a shower curtain, excellent choice.
The Grapes pub serves good home cooked food at reasonable average prices of today, made to feel very welcome by the friendly owners/bar staff, well worth a visit, (needs more lounge/comfy furniture as well as the dining tables n chairs. ).
The location of this site speaks for itself, If you've never explored the area you must visit, if you have you'll know there's always something new to see or revisit old ones!

The site was excellent in every way from the greeting by Andrews mum followed by Andrew himself.
The site was beautifully kept toilet and shower facilities exceptionally clean all the time we were there.
Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew and we would not hesitate to return to this very quiet site.

This site was just splendid! Immaculate pitches and facilities! The owner Andrew is a very friendly welcoming person as is his Dad.
It’s situated in the lovely village of Ebberston with so many other places to visit within a short car drive.
Thornton Le dale is a must visit. The Local pub “The Grapes is a short walk via a path through the field or by road which ever takes your fancy. Great food and super friendly staff.
We walked to the Coachman in the next village which was an adventure in itself as the non road path took us on an adventure through lovely trails into and through a golf course and then through a field of cows! But in the end the food and beer was fabulous.
There’s a lovely little walk if you have a dog very close to the site, which takes you through a nice meadow area which had a path mown around the perimeter.
If you go to the end it takes you past a field of goats and hens! You can then do a circular route through the village which in itself is absolutely beautiful.
There’s a stream running down one side and you’re just hard pushed to find a single house that isn’t lovely and well kept.
Altogether a most enjoyable few days and will definitely return. 10 out of 10 for this site!

An excellent very peaceful adults-only site, in a very pleasant little village, it is easy to find with easy access from all directions.
The facilities were always spotless, and the nine hard standing pitches of good size and well cared for.
Andrew Baxter is very conscientious about maintaining the site with short mown grass (with no grass clippings left to walk into your caravan) and was very helpful at all times.
The Grapes pub is nearby although we didn’t have time to visit, and places like Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby and the North York Moors with its railway within easy distance.
Simply a lovely place to be. Our thanks to Andrew.
