Very welcoming site. Some restrictions that have been put in place due to inconsiderate others, so Barbecues need to at least 6 inches of the ground. No hot water to wash up which at 7.50 a night for a basic pitch was a bit of a surprise. Shower is £1 for 12 mins so 2 can shower but still works out at 50p each. Site is nice and quiet though and we will probably return later in the year. Owners Response: We are planning on installing a water heater for the outside dish-washing facility (due for late 2010) although there is hot water in the washrooms just a few yards away and lots of campers help themselves to the hot water if they are bothered about washing up in cold water! The shower meter will be converted in the very near future to accept tokens which will allow us to regulate the cost a lot better than as it is now which will only accept £1 coins.

What a cracking little site. Small but perfectly formed.
12 pitches. 2 cubicles in each of the two toilets. One shower (£1 for 15 mins). All very clean and well looked after.
They even sell free range eggs and hire BBQs.
Very reasonably priced and very friendly owners.
Only one thing I didn't much like and that was getting caught in a downpour at the outside washing up sink.
Would return without hesitation.
Owners Response: Since Andy's visit we have built a cover over the dish-washing facility to avoid our customers being caught in a sudden downpour. Andy has been back since!

May 2005 The site is small, quiet and well presented and very convenient for Thetford Forest. Toilets and shower are comfortable and clean. Although the shower is £1, two people can easily make use of the 15 minute allocation (without having to go in together!)
We found Peter and Jane to be friendly and helpful and will be making a return visit.

May 2004 We chose this site because it is only 10-15 mins away from Snetterton Race Course. We race in the Mighty Mini Championship and needed to be close by for an early qualifying session.
This is a lovely litte site in a very tranquil location. You won't need to set an alarm as you will be woken by the gentle sound of a cow mooing in the next field!! The loos and showers were very clean and in good condition. The shower costs £1 for 15 mins.
The owners Peter & Jane were very welcoming and accomodating. If you read this Peter you were right about the eggs there is nothing ordinary about them, they were wonderful.
Will we be returning? yes, we have another race scheduled for September but if we can think of another reason we will be back before then.

April 2002 We were both very pleased with the site layout, also the facilities were first class, although this site has only just been opened after a change of ownership the new owners have done a wonderful job of ensuring that their visitors have a wonderful stay. The rates are exceptional value; the surrounding countryside is both peaceful and serene as there is no perceivable road noise from any of the local roads. We would have no problem with returning back to this site, in fact we plan do so in the very near future to further investigate the surrounding area.
