We had a very good stay at this campsite. The location is the real draw - right on the cliff top overlooking Polzeath beach. Was great to fall asleep with the sound of waves crashing in. The site is gently sloping towards the beach, large and caters for tents of all sizes, caravans etc. These areas are generally separated by fences. Facilities were impressive - two toilet/shower blocks which seemed to be cleaned twice a day, showers take 50p for about 5-6 mins. End of summer season so was quite busy on the Saturday night, but plenty of space on Sunday and Monday nights. Nevertheless would recommend booking ahead. Mix of users - families and plenty of surfers (Polzeath is an excellent surfing beach). Would highly recommend the restaurant adjoining the campsite - Wildfish - excellent seafood and welcome after trying to find anywhere to eat in nearby Padstow. Cost per night relatively expensive at £15 for a tent, but well worth it if for location only.
