 We recently stayed in Riverside with our 2 children (6, 14months). To be honest it wasn't bad. The check in was quick and easy and our pitch marked out and easy to find.
Facilities:
OK I think would be a fair comment. The pool was lovely and warm and quite clean. Toilets / showers were a bit grubby and could have been cleaned more often. The clubhouse is open in the evenings but we didn't use it. I was assured by one of my fellow campers that if I had teenage kids they would have loved it! (He found it quite appalling but to each their own.). There were facilities such as the shop, but again we didn't use them (we weren't there long). Oh, and there's a fab kids playground there too.
Local area:
If you have a bit of shopping to do, there is an ASDA, Tesco and ALDI close by. Morriston is the local town with banks, shops, etc and there's plenty going on in Swansea. Use the City and County of Swansea website and 'whats on' links to find plenty of attractions and free things to do (yes I'm from Swansea so I can personally vouch for my city!).
Other stuff:
Would I recommend it? Unsure. Good M4 links and easy to get to other attractions but I would suggest staying in Gower personally.

The weekend was very busy with quite a lot of noise at night. The 2 toilet / shower blocks (when open) could have been cleaned more often. The pool was very good, quiet during the week, friendly staff.
Lovely surrounding area`s, close to Swansea so lots of facilities to entertain kids, Mumbles beach is lovely.

Really enjoyed the week at this site. Showers always hot, though toilets could have been cleaned more regularly. This is a fab place for kids, our five year old was delighted to feed the ducks and swans, and catch tiny fish with his net in the safe shallow lake on site. Two minute walk to the river. The indoor pool was really warm, and free to use. Good adventure playground too.
The shop was very reasonable and open til 8 at night. Entertainment and bingo is on most nights at the clubhouse, but we were so lucky with the weather, we didn't bother going to the club, but the two 11year old girls with us said it was brill. This site is in a well sheltered spot, while we were there other parts of swansea had gale force winds which we knew nothing about. Asda five minutes drive, Lidl 10 minutes walking.

Many times
We have visited this site on many occations and have found it clean and level.
Good base to tour the swansea area.

Very friendly site. However need a few more cleaners due to it being very busy. Toilets and showers were a little grubby by the next day but not too bad. Also their rubbish skips needed emptying. Look like a good site for Children as they were all enjoying the facitities.
