Location is superb for a fantastic beach and villages with all you might want on holiday. We had high hopes for our trip but found it busy with the tents pitched closely and with associated cars leaving no room for kids to play safely while pitching and cooking. On arrival it took 30 minutes for a warden to come to show us a pitch which was squeezed into the tightest spot with the added comment of 'leave that corner as we could squeeze one more in there'! Would perhaps suit couples but for young families there is no play area and a no ball games rule making it hard to occupy younger ones around the tent.
Beach location made up for it
But we wouldn't visit again as not relaxing at busy times.

What a fantastic location, only a stones throw from the beach with either sand or rocks to keep most people happy. The small village had plenty to offer with a good shop, chippy and chinese. The site is idealy placed to go exploring the Moray area. The nearest city Elgin has everything that a large town can offer but beware because it is remote some things might have to be ordered. The site itself was clean and friendly, there are two shower blocks and we found the twenty pence gave plenty of time to shower clean. We camped in the top field which was quieter and suited us to the ground.

It was the fourth place on our road trip. Very friendly staff, great location, very easy to get there. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great. And the bathrooms were not the top ones, but useable. There is a shop nearby, which is open quite long, which was very helpful ;)

To be honest I visit this site regularly from Skye. Its a beautiiful site well maintained and in a lovely coastal location. Very clean with full facilities with caring owners.
Tourer pitches are flat and several are elevated for the great view. An ideal location and well worth a visit.
Popular so make sure and book, yup, a very good site.

Just visited with a view to booking
Well maintained, reasonably priced and located with pitches over looking the beach. There appeared to be an over flow field at the top for tourers, and a few hook ups. The site was tidy. However we found that there was no- one around to answer our queries, so we ambled through the site without being challenged for a good half an hour.
Small shop, post office, chip shop and chinese in the village Beach fantastic and once again watched the dolphins in the water for a good hour from this location.

Excellent location, right on the beach lots of room in the top field bit cramped in others. Mostly very quiet site. Toilets and shower block very basic, 20p for light in shower so be very quick. No shop on site. No childrens play area but beach on doorstep, to keep them amused. Very nice chinese takeaway 5 minutes walk plus small supermarket. Good base for visiting Inverness and above. If you like dolphins best site to stay at, you are more than likely to see them just off shore playing like children, makes up for everything.
