A little haven. Very welcoming campsite managers, Graham and Carol, who managed to find a spot for us despite the fact that due to the good weather Cornwall was 'full!'. Central location meant that it was easy to reach both the Lizard, (with the wonderful Roskilly's at St Keverne) and St Ives.
'The important bit': Clean toilets and separate shower block with good supply of warm water included in the price - no searching for 50ps here.
Well-stocked shop also sells freshly baked warm croissants and bagettes in the morning- don't forget to order them the day before.
Quiet, with the most stunning sunsets to watch as you relax and sip a glass of white wine.I wish I was back there now.

12 - 26 June 2004 Excellent! One of the nicest sites we have visited and very pretty too. Situated quite far down Cornwall but well worth it for the amount to see and do around the area. Padstow was only an hour by car.
The new owners (2nd year) are very welcoming and helpful. The site is immaculate and very well maintained with new landscaping becoming established. Electric hook-ups also had a watertap next to them which was very handy - no trailing across the park for water. We pitched with the awning facing west (towards the owners chalet) was the best for overall sun and incredible sunsets. Can be windy so advise storm strap or guy ropes on the awning.
Recycling is catered for with separate bins for plastic, paper, glass etc and even a compost bin for vegetable peelings etc.
The showers/toilets were spotless and there is a little laundry with washing machine, spin-dryer, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board - everything! A shop run by the owners supplies basic needs and papers, gas, loo chemicals etc but Tesco is a couple of miles away in Helston.
We were attracted to this site due to the 2 acre dog walk which is a meadow with pathway around it. Our dogs loved it and the freedom to wander and sniff. A dog poo bin is also supplied.
No mobile phone signal attainable but this may be a blessing to some. Excellent TV reception.
No entertainment - just peace an quiet, no traffic noise just birdsong and the sunsets were incredible! Two weeks of heaven for us!

August 2003 We enjoyed our stay here - the owner was really friendly and helpful. The owners are new and really seemed keen to make a go of it.
The site has a small shop which is only open at certain times and a kids playground which was fine. The toilets and showers were fine - we were by the toilet block (slightly smelly but I am sure this will soon be sorted out). The site also has a washing machine and tumble drier. I was also impressed to see the efforts that have gone into encouraging people to recycle.
This site was ideally placed to visit Flambards Theme Park.
We would come back here as the site has a very relaxed feel to it.
