Wardens greeted us very nice guys £16.50 per night, site is kept very tidy, toilets & showers are very clean. Site is well lit a night. Small park for kids.
Dewars whiskey distillery is a 5 minute walk from campsite very good value for money £6.50 for the tour, video & museum then a dram. Coffee shop is very good.
We ate at The Fountain very good food & good price. Also 2minutes from the campsite is a take away shop called the Old Filling Station very good rolls.
Nice walks, 1 from campsite takes you along by the golf course & river. White water rafting / wall climbing / abseil etc at other end of Aberfeldy.

This was our first stop on our first ever motorhome holiday. We stopped at the Aberfeldy site and were pleasantly surprised. Although we arrived just after the office had closed, our pre-booked site was easily found and the notice on the board pointing out where we had to go.
There is a good play area for the kids and it is a very pleasant view (am sure it would have been better if it hadn't been raining!). There is a good chip shop and a curry house in the village, about a 5-10 min walk from the site. There is suitable dog walking areas too.
The showers and toilet facilities were good, although only 4 showers in the mens and womens for the whole site.
We would definitely return to this site again.

This has to be my absolute favorite site. It is situated 5 minutes walk (an actual 5 mins not the usual 5mins that is closer to 30) from Aberfeldy main street which has lovely shops as well as pubs, resturaunts and take away food. The Fountain bar is particularly welcoming to families with great food at affordable prices.
The caravan park itself is run by very helpful wardens who are always chatty and welcoming. The shower/toilet block is large an spotessly clean. The park is always well maintained and free of litter. The kids play area keeps them amused for hours on end and there is a dog walk area along the river which makes for a lovely walk on a nice day. You are never bothered by any badly behaved groups or noise in the evening. All in all it is the ideal place to relax and take it easy.

We have just had a fantastic weekend at Aberfeldy
Campsite . We were unsure after we read the review of chunkybuns. Thankfully we went anyway and have booked in again this weekend.
The toilet/shower blocks are clean&tidy with plenty of soap hot water.
The warden was very cheerful and helpful and was also able to crack a few jokes.
The site itself was very clean and tidy the grass was well cut and the gardener was also cheerful.
As for the ramp on entering the camp site if you follow the arrows you do not go over the ramp you do go over it on your way out of the site and that is why its located where it is to stop drivers speeding out when there are small children about.
The site was full with both tents and caravans and I never saw anyone walking about drinking out of cans and no late night noise.
This is a very friendly site. Within walking distance to shops / walks / pubs serving good pub grub .

The site is in a pleasant location and very handy for the town centre. Although next to the main road, the road was not particularly busy, so not too much road noise.
The Gents' facilities were adequate, though the showers were never cleaned after use and the bucket of water with the mop to clean the showers looked like it had been there since the beginning of the year. The Ladies' facilities needed work, with some of the toilet cubicles requiring a door to be replaced and locks to be fitted to others. Again, no one cleaned the shower after use.
The facilities were cleaned once a day by staff.
The site itself was clean and well maintained with a great little park for the younger kids.
The staff were friendly and pleasant. Though with no warden on in the evening and night, it could get quite noisy from young teenagers. Noisiest site I have ever been on.
Given the above, I would however recommend it for a short visit, as it's location is great and well worth seeing Aberfeldy and the surrounding areas.

The site is generally good but I would concur with other reviews on the noise. We were adjacent to the tent site and was annoyed to see kids out playing football on the grass at ten at night and adults walking down the site swigging from bottles of cider. Gents toilets were dirty because the site was busy and they were only cleaned once a day. Warden is as dour as they come and clearly not a people person. Watch the first speed bump coming into the site, it badly scraped my exhaust (and the warden never thought to point it out when we arrived). That said it was cheap at £18 per night.

We stayed with 2 children and had great time. We were only going to stay for 1 night but ended up staying another night. Campsite was very clean so were the toilet and showers. Great for children only 5 min walk to nearby attractions. Should visit Kenmore only short drive away, there is great beach we hired pedalo. Would definitely go back again.

On arrival the site is well presented and the welcome is friendly. The shower/and toilet facilities were clean but not enough showers for the size of site. The ground for pitching the tent was perfect with no stones and very flat. I was disappointed by the lack of a hook up despite having made this request on booking. The weekend was very wet and some of the tent pitches were under water Aberfeldy is a lovely town with an excellent playpark for kids of all ages. The Watermill bookshop is a must as is their cafe, very good coffee and friendly staff. Our stay at this site would have been enjoyable were it not for the appalling noise form other campers until well after midnight on the Friday night. When I complained to staff the following day I was told that the group concerned had been put off the site. The Saturday night was better but not quiet enough for me. With a 1yr old and a 3yr old it proved difficult to get them to settle with all the noise going on. I am afraid to say that I shall not be returning to this site as my overall impression was that this sort of disturbance was not uncommon.

Really loved this campsite, excellent location nice surroundings and friendly staff. Fantastic toilets/showers and washing up facilities and all the shops bars and local attractions a two minute walk away. What more could you want. Kids loved the walk along the river pass the golf course and bouncing on the bouncy bridge, the large play park in town and the pitch and putt as well as the swimming pool. Will be visiting this site again as it is handy for visiting queens view and Pitlochry etc.

Lovely campsite, very well-run and easy walking distance from town. Nice location beside river with good play-park for children. Would definitely visit again. PS Reduced rates at Aberfeldy swimming pool if you mention you're staying at campsite!
