This is a lovely little site in a great rural location with easy access to Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. It is also adjacent to a canal which was great for walking the dog.
Due to recent wet weather the site was very wet but the owners were doing their very best to manage this and I'm sure that in normal conditions it would be fine. Despite the wet, we had a great weekend and would definitely go back.
We didn't use the site's toilet and shower facilities but they looked very clean and tidy.

First the positives. This site is set in a lovely rural location adjacent to the canal towpath. Walking along the towpath is very pleasant and is a great dog walk. Also we did not suffer any unwelcome early wake up calls from the cockerel that other reviewers mention. This may or may not be because we visited just after Christmas!
Now the not so positives. This is the scruffiest site that I have ever stayed on. One of the caravans seemed to be surrounded by its own junk yard. Of the eleven caravans on site, most appeared to be permanently or semi-permanently lived in rather than tourers many with attendant commercial vehicles.
The chap in the next caravan who fired up his noisy diesel to leave for work at 5. 30am was less welcome than the pre-mentioned cockerel would have been. The hard standings were narrow and ill defined with the adjacent grass intruding onto the pitches. The grassed areas were uneven with longish grass and numerous boggy and muddy areas. The farm had two or more large dogs who barked incessantly.
So numerous problems some of which I could perhaps overlook had I not been charged £60 for a three night stay. I pay less at very well equipped and maintained caravan club sites!
There's not much about locally (probably one of the attractions of the site) although Milton Keynes is only about 6 miles away. However The Old Red Lion at Great Brickhill is only 2 miles away and appears to be a decent enough pub. I can't comment on the food that they serve as they don't serve food on a Monday evening but the menu looked reasonable.

Just had a overnight at the farm, (would have stayed a lot longer but had car problems). We had the field to ourselfs other than 3 others. Nice greeting from owners. Toilet really clean.
Had a good walk along the canal to the 3 locks pub, (about a mile)
Maybe not for those who don't like wild life, we had a array of bird calls and other animals during the night, and the cockerels in the morning, we live in a village so are used to it.

We had two nights stay and found it a very quiet and secluded site, very handy for visiting the Bletchley Park codebreakers, a place of great interest, we were greeted warmly and made welcome, the toilet and washroom facilities were very clean, although small.
We didn't manage to get to sample the local pub or visit the nearby shop which is a short walk along the canal tow path. We will certainly come again to see more of the surrounding area as there is lots of things to see
We thought the fees were on the high side, but that wont put us from coming again.

I have to agree with a previous reviewer. Site was like a resting place for abandoned caravans. The general maintenance appeared poor. EHU kept tripping even with no load. My experience of owners, whom I think I caught going out, was park over there, your choice try not to hit the gate.
And that will be £50 a night. I had 4 grand kids that first night as son lives in Milton Keynes and his 2 kids wanted to stay in van first night. Forgot about constantly barking dogs. No cockerel that I heard. Will I be back? Not a chance.

We had have just been for our 3rd visit, lovely quiet site, nice walks on canal, and plenty to do within a few miles,
As for the review about the barb wire and electric fences this is not a problem if you are where you should be!
The owners are very nice and there if you need anything, some very nice places to eat around,
The toilets are unisex but this has never been a problem, plenty of hot water, free showers and clean
Cant think what else you could need, will go back for sure,
Big field and some electric hook up in tent field,

We only stayed for a Saturday night as planned and really enjoyed ourselves in a new tent.
Words of warning for you: there is an electric fence and barbed wire around the site and the field does not have much in the way of flat ground so arrive early or bring sea sickness tablets. The owner is not user friendly but swiftly dealt with after the brief tour of the facilities (maybe 30 seconds – here is the toilet, “the light doesn’t ****ing turn itself off”, charming)
Fresh eggs 25pence each and you are right next to the canal so great if you take your bicycle or fancy a very nice stroll.
You park the car next to your tent, great for first time campers with a huge load. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and a mixed bunch from youngsters to retired couples and some European cousins.
The cock-a-doodle-do does start around 4am, you will be woken up. I liked it as we don’t get such great noise pollution at home and it doesn’t last for more than half an hour.
Facilities are basic, one toilet cubicle, 2 further cubicles with shower and toilet, and one basin between them also used for washing your plates. A fresh water tap in the field and another by the facilities. One picnic bench in the middle of the field.
We travelled in a group of 11 including five under-6s and although none hurt themselves you were wary of the barbed wire and electric fence so had to keep your eyes on them all the time. The owner warns you about the fence and explains it is to keep the animals out.
Great location although you are next to a country road so do hear the occasion car throughout the day and night but no background hum of a motorway or similar.
Too many options to want to go back but a great introduction to camping helped by great weather and new friends.
It’s a field with too small facilities and a rude greeting and not great value for money at £8 an adult, but the eggs and the canal compensated.

My boyfriend and I along with two of our friends have just returned from a two night stay at the old dairy farm. The stay was for a concert at the Milton Keynes bowl, of which the site provided transport too and from the venue, included in the price, as well as catering facilities on site.
The site itself is a lovely location however the facilities are very poor, the toilets, showers and washing up facilities especially. With only two showers and three toilets (mixed gender) often there were big queues, these areas were poorly maintained, often very dirty with no toilet paper, I know we stayed at a busy weekend but with there being so few facilities would have expected them to be maintained to a higher standard. We even opted to use showers at the local swimming pool over the ones on site!
There are very few electric pitches available. The field itself is surrounded by an electric fence which isn't ideal, I imagine if you had children this could be awkward!
As many other reviews have stated there are a lot of birds at the farm including a cockerel which does crow continuously from around 3:30am!
Toilets aside this site met the purpose of our trip.

Stayed here for two nights with wife and nephew, mainly to test our new trailer tent and it was only 50 minutes or so from where we live. Location I have to say for a short stay is fabulous with the canal and walks nearby, although you would struggle I think to keep yourself occupied for longer.
Facilities were basic, although adequate for myself but the wife was less than impressed.

My partner and granddaughter arrived after contacting the owner by e mail. We paid what we consider to be an expensive fee of £24 for one night, although we had been quoted £21 and thought that was rather steep - this is without a hook up. We have a VW and a small tent.
The field we were in was very quiet and suited our needs but there was little for my 9 year old granddaughter to do other than look at the ducks which were lovely.
The canal is very picturesque we turned left on the tow path and we enjoyed a long walk to the second lock where there was a friendly pub The Grand Union Canal - the menu is expensive for pub food but offered a good healthy selection.
On our return the staff rushed across the grass raising their voice because they thought we were burning the grass we had been careful to ensure we wouldn't.
In the morning we found the shower to be clogged hair in the drain. When we had cleaned up after our pets and were instructed to put it in a bag in the dustbin.
