A great basic + clean toilets and hot showers campsite set on a hill some flat pitches some on gentle slopes this is camping for familys with out the over priced extras £12 a night or £75 a week per unit big or small (NOT per person) so if you want brand new toilet blocks and new showers I suggest you go and pay anything from £190 upwards on other sites.
The toilets and showers are cleaned twice a day the showers are hot we are a family of five and found this campsite to be run by a friendly couple
As for the moans about noise from a main road its not that bad its a village not a motorway if you need that much quiet the top of snowden is the place for you I fell asleep to the sounds of crickets. Anyway we met lots of people that told us they have returned time and time again and I think we will as well sometime soon we really did have a great time. One small point is the sinks only have cold water but hey that's what your granny used the kettle for all in all great cheap site well worth a visit we went for three days but stayed a week. You can look around the site before pitching or paying so if its not for you your not stuck like some places but I think you will like it just the same as us.

We pitched here for one night in Aug 07 Site was very cheap, £12 a night rather than £20 which was good. Some very nice pubs close by. I liked The Ship further down, it did a better Vegi range of food. Toilet/ shower block was a bit dirty and could of done with more cleaning, the road was a bit noisy during the evening but that can't be helped. Shame there was no hot water and only one sink. I would return, more campites should lower their prices as on a whole it is getting really expensive.

Have just spent the bank holiday at this site and have to say it is rank!. They crammed far too many people on the site, a large part of it faces onto the main road, we were at the back of the site and it was quite nice although it's very hilly and quite difficult to find anywhere flat to pitch. Our main gripe was the state of, what they called the facilities. 6 showers (mens and womens) for an overcrowded site - if 3 men were all using their showers the water supply to the ladies would stop The toilets were dirty and growing mould in the mens. They had 2 sinks with 1 drainer for washing up - no hot water, no hot water in the toilets either. There is no shop on site but they do sell polystyrene mugs of tea in the morning for 80 pence and have a few bags of crisps and kit-kats for sale at the entrance to the site. I would have said on the plus side, that it was quite a cheap site (£45 for 3 nights) except some people we spoke to were charged an extra £50 for having 2 cars - they only had one family tent and 1 pup. We were charged an extra £9.00 for husbands van - which was not taking up any space that could've been used for anything else.
It is a nice location - close to Weymouth and there is a nice pub - The Smugglers - down by the beach at Osmington

I would just like to say what a lovely time myself and my family had at Osmington Mils corner camp site. This family run site is perfect for those who want a basic and inexpensive holiday. The toilets and showers were always clean and the location was good. The staff were always happy to help you in any queries and very friendly. This site is top notch for a perfect holiday camping. Would recommend it to anyone and for £10 a night you cant go wrong. Weymouth was only ten minutes by bus and with two pubs within five minutes walking distant it was perfect. Also a mile down the road is the picturesque Osmington Mills beach and with a pub next to it, makes a great day or trip out. Weymouth is a great lively town and perfect for families like ourelves. Thank you everyone for making us feel so welcome. Hope to see you next year.

Good basic site and cheap, £10 a night and that's it. Very basic toilet / shower block with free hot showers. Toilets smelt a bit although they were cleaned every day, just a bit run down really. Only one sink for washing up. The field is terraced and there's some good pitches to be had. Would be nice to have a quiet area. Nothing mad going on but you do get a few groups of friends there so it can get a bit noisy later in the night. I don't like curfews for quiet times or restricting groups so just separating them would be good enough. All in all we had a good stay and would use the site again, especially as the one up the road was £20 a night.

Stunning views both during the day and at night! Not too far from the pub n it's only £8 in a taxi to Weymouth! Site is well situated for exploring local area, without having to battle weymouth traffic! Facilities are quite basic, but the toilets n showers are cleaned daily which is good news! If you venture to the Smugglers Inn on foot during the evening - remember to take a torch for the journey back! cos getting home in the dark is quite an adventure! Well worth the pitch fee!

We visited this site with the intention of staying the week, but ended up staying 30 minutes. Just enough time to open up the camper, make a brew and up sticks fast. maybe it was a one off but the toilets (gents) were badly in need of a going over with bleach (and a steam cleaner in one cubicle that was missing a door) Pitches are terraced but watch out for cow pats and flies. There are no hookups, shops are a couple of miles down the road which is just outside the gate. It's ok for a stopover but not for us.

May 2004 A great site! Clean shower facilities, ample pitch space and a superb view of the sea. Best of all...no caravans or RVs!
The 'Smugglers Inn' at the bottom of the road is a favourite haunt for campers (so book to avoid disappointment).
We shall return soon!
