I've a friendly bank manager, so visited this site again and pleased to see good facilities and standards had been maintained. Keen, professional and committed owners/managers. Good mix of campers/caravanners and the set up is good. There is quite a large residential/static contingent on this site, but the location and lay out is such that it feels like an authentic camp/touring site. No improvements in restaurant/caff area. Free ice pack exchange and washer/dryers are big, modern and good value (£2 each). All facilities/attractions (tennis courts, lake/beach, zip wire etc etc ) available & usually empty despite site being full and plenty of room for kiddies to ride around on their bikes. However, I think you should review your pricing for children. For a 5yr old to pay the same rate (now £11 pp/pn) as an adult seems strange? Great base for walking and cycling locally. Popular Maybridge Inn disappointing, but it was a bank holiday.

September 2005 The facilities were first class (read the website for list) all incl. in price and usually no-one on them! The lake is great with its little beach for children (and dinghies) and adults alike. The individual shower & toilet units were always excellent - there are even 2 baths. One gripe, the radio in them was always a little too loud for my liking - not keen on manfred mann blaring out at 7am. Firm rules re peace & quiet and respected by all. Good mix of campers/ caravanners. Waldringfield & River Deben great for walking & cycling. Rentlesham forest worth a trip. Second gripe, the 'restaurant' lacks atmosphere (big tv in corner & 2 slot machines) and food more 'Bobs caff' standard. Professional and helpful staff. All this for £10 per person, per night, yes pp/pn, even for a 4 year old! An understanding bank manager required in order to stay here - but well worth it nonetheless.

April 2004 Well just had a weekend at the site and it was great, we have never seen so many fish in one lake, the toilet and shower block is fantastic complete with piped music. The site is very well laid out with plenty to do if you have kid's and an adult only section if you don't. Very clean and could not fault it. Not the cheapest around but very good, we would recommend it. Ian.

August 2003 Well what a lovely campsite, all in all me and my Girlfriend spent 4 lovely days and nights at the Moon and Sixpence. I thought the camp site was brilliant, it had a lovely family relaxed feel to it with friendly and helpful staff. It was in a lovely setting away from any main roads and had great access to some lovely villages and seaside towns. I highly recomend this park for all campers.
