Lovely campsite with stunning views, we were in the seaview field and the view was exactly that. The toilet block was kept clean but take a bag of 20p's for the showers and washing up. There is a washing machine and tumble drier also available. We went to the Woodlands Hall Hotel for our evening meal one night and the food was delicious and there is an indoor play area, handy for a wet evening, but apparently the beer selection is the fizzy larger type. The campsite is on the Llyn penisular coastal walk and the walks from the campsite are away from traffic and stunning. Turn right when you get to the cliffs to see the seals.

Have just returned from this lovely site and have already booked a return trip in July!
The site is friendly and quiet, plenty of room for the kids to play and lovely walks from the site.
The play area was a hit with our youngest children.
Take a bag of 20p's with you as a shower and hairwash for our eldest was 40p a time (better than the hour she usually spends in the bathroom!)
There is a Spar shop in Nefyn (about 20mins away) and also a rather nice Indian takewaway. Local shops sell basics.
All in all a great site if you like the quiet life, owners friendly and happy to help. Saw the grey seals sunbathing in the cove which was a holiday highlight for our children.

I'll second all the previous reviews and them some!
Pete and Sue have got to be the friendliest campsite owners I've ever met and I was very sad to leave.
The site is nice and level, well maintained and the location is perfect for watching the sunset and exploring the Llyn coastline. It was busy when we stayed but never felt crowded, Sue and Pete don't overfill the site so everyone gets ample space to spread out and enjoy themselves.
The facilities are basic but perfectly adequate and kept very clean. It was great to be able to recycle our rubbish and the toilets are flushed with rainwater adding to the eco credentials.
The local area is stunningly beautiful and the local shops and services are good.
This is a cool place with all you need for a great holiday - we'll definitely be going back later this year for a longer stay.

We stayed at this site for 2 nights. As all the other reviewers have stated the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The location is to die for, right on the coast. Its a 2 minute walk to the sea! The site is fairly basic but kept very clean. We stayed on the sea view field with elec hookup. The pitches are very well spread and the Field looked nice and level. There where 2 Bathrooms for our field with a sink, toilet and shower in each. These are a little dated but very clean. There are other toilets in the tourer field but we never needed to use these. This is a perfect base for exploring the Peninsular. If your going take 20p for the shower and any hot water you may need. Its also fairly isolated so come prepared ! Overall for £10 a night cannot be beaten.

We were completely torn between telling everyone what a complete jewel this site is and attempting to keep it secret! The location is stunning, the site is (in our view) perfect - not over manicured but well maintained, the owners were friendly and approachable The facilities were more than adequate and the showers were hot. It is a wonderful, traditional camping site - no club house or on-site entertainment. The owners really care for the environment and try to encourage campers to do the same, they have extensive recycling facilities. The site is dog friendly and we can't wait to go back!

Well what can I say? We've been back 24 hours and have only just started to adjust.
Talk about a breath of fresh air. We've been for the last 3 years and will definitely be going back next summer. You can witness nature at its finest with an array of local wildlife to see and unspoiled beaches for big and little kids alike.
I cannot praise the owners enough - they're warm, welcoming and approachable and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay memorable.
Only only problem with the site was getting the children to agree to leave. They reluctantly agreed on the understanding that we will go back next summer if not before!

We stayed here in September 2007. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The view from the sea view field was really great and the walks along the cliffs breath taking. The site is basic but clean. The owners were friendly and helpful and gave us a guide for the walks around the coast. While taking the walks we saw plenty of wild life including Grey Seals. The area is great for being outdoors but if the weather was wet we didnt feel that there would be alot to do as the surrounding areas are very quiet. We had great weather and spent alot of time on the beaches, which were also clean and safe for children, also dog walkers were aloud on most parts of the beaches. We would recommend this site for peace and quiet, maybe a base for a walking holiday, and will go back again.

We recently returned from what I consider to be one the friendliest campsites we've ever been to. We pitched on the sea-view site with our new larger tent, although we had read the previous reviews about the wind, however, we we're lucky enough to have a glorious week weather wise. The cliff walks mentioned below are fantastic and from the campsite you can walk as far or as little as you want before you reach a sheltered cove. The pub is 30 minutes walk away and has a range of local beers and surprisingly good curries! The walk back in the evening was always toward the sunset which made the evening extra special. The facilities were clean but there could maybe be a couple of extra toilet / showers for use in high season. The campsites extensive environmental procedures are also worth mentioning as all types of camping waste are encouraged to be disposed of separately and rainwater is used to flush the toilets. All in all one of the best camping holidays we've had and we'll be returning next year.

We visited Penrallt for the Easter weekend and had a lovely stay. The sea view field, does what it says, it looks straight out to sea and the setting sun in the evening. The site is dog friendly and the facilities are very basic but clean and functional. The Lion Inn at Tudweiliog is a great pub with real ale and a good beer garden. For walkers, the coastal paths are excellent and there are even a couple of small mountains to climb with spectacular views over the peninsula. We'll definitely stay again
