 Chterarder CP is situated at the lower end of the town as you head back towards the motorway. You take the Dunning Road and it is literally 50 yards in on your left. This is one of the prettiest sites that we use and although situated close to the M9, the traffic noise is not excessive and should not bother you. Close to the beautiful City of Perth, this and the many villages and towns in the area are all well worth exploring in detail. The immediate area also abounds with many visitor attractions and whether your interests lie in the distillation of “the water of life” (whisky) or Pottery, or Crystal or just plain old fashioned window Shopping and/or Touring, you are well placed to take your time to see it all. Auchterarder Caravan Park itself has all the amenities of a well run site. The toilets are kept clean, heated and they even have the local radio station piped into them. With EHU on all pitches and fresh water taps and waste taps close by, TV reception is very good. Bordered on two sides by small streams, a wooden bridge across one of them takes you to a Dog Walking Area in the woods. This Caravan Park is well used by folks who leave their vans there all year round and use the site summer and winter. To me that speaks volumes about the quality of both the site and the area that it is situated in. It is a site that we have use many times over the years and will continue to do so.
