This was probably not the best year to go to this site because of the weather so, taking that into account. This is a quiet site except for the train line at the rear of the site. The trains do not however run during the night just from about 6am. A couple of the hard standing are quite large but most are not. We have a campervan which we attach an awning too. The pitch we were given was No. 6. An end of the site pitch and it was angled which was not ideal for our unit. The actual hardstanding does have plenty of gravel but not much hardcore underneath. Add the LARGE amount of rain and it did get softer and softer as the week went on. Only two showers - one with a toilet and on lone toilet. Washing up facilities was one sink but it did have hot water. Toilets were clean. Chacewater within waling distance and had good pubs and shops for bits. Do not think I will be returning. We left 4 days early because of pitch and weather.

We spent 2 weeks in August at this site. What a gem of a find. It is purely adults only, the site is small only 20 pitches, but is beautifully kept. The owners and the wardens do everthing to make your stay pleasant. We were shown to our pitch with hookup and also offered a cup of tea. We were given a welcome pack with a host of leaflets with things to do in the area. The showers and toilets were spotless. The access to the site is excellent but make sure you follow the directions to Kea downs Road, this roads in closed at one end past the site, so access is only in one direction. The location of this site was ideal, near to St Agnes and handy to the beaches there, one of which is Dog Friendly, also 2 dog friendly pubs . The Driftwood in St Agnes and the Red Lion in Blackwall. I cannot recommend this site enough and we shall certainly make the trip there again in the future.
