Nice flat site. Unfortunately our pitch was in the middle and when cars came round the track they always came over the edge of our pitch - not helped by other peoples cars not being on their pitches. Hedging which is advertised does not cover all pitches and ours had none, hence part of ours being used as a roadway - including over our guy ropes.
Facilities - very poor for size of campsite. Also very dark around blocks. Showers, hand basins and toilets totally inadequate. Ok there was a block in every field but every one of them was always too busy. Also by evening showers were not at all warm. Not enough washing up sinks nor hot water in them or machines (£2) and driers either.
Pool ok, but small. Trampoline nice. Nice bar area but very little entertainment.
Lack of communication amongst staff which almost meant our friends that could not arrive till later than expected -( had kept staff informed) almost lost their pitch which would have been a disaster as we had booked to be next to one another.
Also someone on site must have a new laminator as the notices everywhere were incredible - the most I have ever seen! Think someone got a little carried away!
If facilities were doubled would visit again.

We've visited this site on quite a few occasions, both camping with electric hook up and in Lanyon static caravans, and will continue to based on our experiences there.
We've found the site as a whole to be clean, spacious and with the most welcoming feel. The site is very well laid out with ample washing, showering and dishwashing facilities and again all these areas are kept clean at all times, even during the busiest of periods. The pitches are on good level ground and large enough to spread out and relax when staying onsite.
As far as the recreational facilities go, the childrens playpark is fun and safe entertainment for our younger children, and well away from any roads, or the site entrance ! The swimming pool is a great added bonus for a family run park, as is the use of the large trampoline. Our 3 kids (4, 7 & 16) have never had a bored moment during our stays. Having enough space to play feely and safely makes their time so much more fun.
The restaurant, bar and entertainment are of a high standard in our opinion, though can get quite busy - a good point I'd say.
Their static caravans are modern, clean, well stocked and of the standard we've come to appreciate at this site.
The whole spacious, clean and warm/welcoming atmosphere this site offers, has helped make for some very relaxing and memorable breaks.

Very nice site but limited on activities for kids, couple of slot machines and a millionaire game, 2 pool tables and a little park with swings and a slide. Pool was very small, Food was rubbish in taste and quantity and was too expensive for what is was. My wife's food order was completely forgotten about after asking on 3 occasions but did eventually come at the same standard as mine and my 2 kids. ECU pitch--plenty of space and well drained, very good Washroom facilities clean but more required to cope with the summer time demand, also in need of modernisation Washing up facility very good but busy during rush hour! Washing machine and dryer excellent, but again try and avoid rush hour Would seriously consider a revisit at some time next year

After our original campsite in Somerset was closed due to flooding, we moved to this site for 2 weeks and would highly recommend it. It's a great position for touring Cornwall and is quiet with lovely views, due to its high position however this did make it slightly breezy but it does not get flooded which was more important to us during the current UK weather! When booking the stay, we were given a full description of all the facilities at the site and in the surrounding area. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. The pitches are very spacious and clearly marked out. The toilet / shower block was kept clean and there was always plenty of hot water with free showers and a hairdryer. There was a very well equipped laundry / dish-wash area with 2 fridges and a freezer for ice packs (you need a pen to mark up your ice packs as this was very well used). There is a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. There are plenty of activities for children with a large trampoline, swimming pool, park and games room. There is a small shop and a bar serving evening meals although we did not eat here. A ten minute walk away is a farm shop / restaurant serving beautiful organic food a few evenings a week which is also highly recommended and also a couple of large supermarkets within a five minute drive. A really good site and well looked after.

This was the most friendliest site we have ever stayed at. The food and service and bar staff was so good it was amazing. It was very very clean. A proper family run park as it should be 100%. They made us and the children feel so welcome. The entertainment was 1st class. Our gas ran out and it was done in 10 min. They could not do enough for us
