Stayed for 2 nights recently, perfect for all our needs. No shops, No Pub.

Toilets X 2 in with showers, sink finished to a good standard. Dish washing facilities very good water red hot.

Quiet pitches, if your kids get bored easily this is not for you, ours were happy to get on with things, near enough to coast for outings.

Its like staying in your mates back yard. It is the right level of facilities to make things enjoyable

We will use this site again.

A nice quiet site set in a lovely part of the country.

The site has recently been updated and the toilets/showers have been fitted out to a very high standard for a campsite. One issue though is that if there are two people taking a shower then you'll have to wait for the toilet !

The other facilities are very limited at the moment - just a covered sink for washing dishes.

The site is small but there was plenty of space on the pitch for our large tent - probably best to check first though.

Wi-fi reception was no good in our (furthest) corner of the field but seemed better in other places.

The area is very quiet - which is fine when the weather is good (it wasn't) but means its a bit of a drive to anywhere with indoor stuff for kids.

We went to the banger racing at Skegness - good fun ! Lincoln is also lovely with great cafes, bars and restaurants near the Cathedral. But a word of warning Grimsby - don't do it!

People running the site are very helpful and friendly -I hope they make this site work.

Lastly if you go for a stroll through the field next to the site watch out for the cows - we were lucky escape with our lives !

Please note this is no longer a pub, so previous review(s) no longer apply. It is now under new management and has been reopened as a tents only camping and glamping site from June 2012.

Stayed here for two nights as it was very near to Cadwell Park for the British Superbike weekend. The site is a small field behind the pub. The facilities are basic - water tap in field, 1 shower and 2 mens toilets, the same on the ladies side. Showers are cold or lukewarm. There are no electric hookup faciluities.
The pub is friendly with good beer and a basic menu. BSB weekend is very busy and they will pack as many tents into the field as will fit which is almost wall to wall. The noise is not too bad after the pub shuts but as with most campsites you may get a few idiots. There is no action by the pub on this so either sort it out yourself or use earplugs. Horncastle is a few miles down the road and about 1/2 hour from the coast. Cost was £10 a night per tent.
