We stayed for one night, nice site with good shower/toilet attached to the pub.
There's also a Portacabin housing a couple of showers and toilet which are much more basic but adequate.
Lovely staff in the pub serving good food and beer.
Nice walks from the site we will stop again if in the area

Great little site in a quiet rural setting.
The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful towards our group of 5.
The facilities were always kept very clean.
The pitches were level.
There are supermarkets a 15min drive away in Horncastle and Louth.
The food and drink in the pub was excellent.
Highly recommend this site.

Lovely little campsite behind the pub and overlooking the Wolds fields and meadows. Friendly relaxed vibe. We went when it was quiet and had lots of space to enjoy the views.
Pub food was good too.
The two main shower/wash rooms attached to the pub are great - powerful shower, plenty of space etc. There is also another two (perhaps more basic but perfectly adequate) additional showers and loos facility available. Plenty of water taps around the field. Camp field immaculate.
Good size pitches. Nice quiet location - in between Horncastle and Louth. Metered electric which was useful for us to charge our EV with a granny cable without worrying about over using the electric. Just purchase what you think you will need and they will put it on the meter for you. You can top this up during pub opening hours if needed. They don’t do refunds for unused electric so worth not putting too much on - equally make sure you keep an eye on what you’re using so you don’t run out in middle of the night or when pub closed.
Worth now a days doing a metered supply as you are paying for what you are using individually rather than having higher inclusive rates for everyone to account for large users such as us with charging the EV for example.
Wifi available in the pub but wasn’t able to get it on the campsite but got 4g there fine.

Love this place. The pub on site does excellent food and delivers takeaway of any meal to your unit.
The pub isn't noisy and closes fairly early so it's not a nuisance either. It's also full of games and children's books and has a table football and pool table, so great for hanging around in wet weather.
The owners are lovely and can't do enough to help.
The toilets and showers are well kept, and there are enough for the site - even during the jubilee double bank holiday we only had to wait for the toilet once or twice.
Only downside really is the location, you'll have a fair drive to much of anything as it's in the middle of nowhere, village has no shop or park.

Great stay overnight at the 3 Horseshoes, hospitable staff,
Fabulous food in the pub and a beautiful, quiet location.
The toilets and showers were okay but could maybe be improved.

Excellent setting for the tents and liked the way the pitches had been set out. Views over the back field to the wolds and despite some wet weather we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the place.
First shower that the better half ‘cleaned my hair properly while camping’ were also clean and numerous enough with the mixed use of the pitches (caravan/motor home) that we never had to queue. Washing up area was clean and the whole operation felt looked after.
We popped into the pub for an evening meal with our dogs and were made to feel welcome. Food was good and beer priced reasonably.
We had no phone signal (O2) so if you do need to be contactable it’s worth bearing in mind, thankfully we just turned them off and appreciated the surrounding walks and countryside.
Looking forward to heading back next year
