We like this site, with one reservation, the turn in from the A540. The site is easy to see, take the M56 to the end, then the A540 towards Chester. You will see the site on the left after a mile, about 100m past the bus stops, big house with 3 tv aerials.
Whether you will be able to turn in time depends on the size of your unit and the traffic. If you miss it, there is a pub where you may be able to turn, otherwise you will have to continue on for about 2 miles to the roundabout.
Otherwise, it's a nice site, £12 per night (didn't put up an awning so don't know if it's still £5 for this). It has a hardstanding area through the first gate, the facilities and bins are here.
Then 2 small well mown fields, one with ehu and one without, The ehu field has a pond, children under 10 are not allowed because of this and neither are dogs. The facilities look ok, £1 for the shower.
It's well placed for Chester of course, the zoo, Cheshire Oaks designer outlet. The Wirral, Liverpool and Delamere forest are within easy reach.

We spent 4 days at this site. The owner has only there 5 months and was dis-organised. Over the phone we booked one week but when we arrived we could only have 5 nights, forgot it was Easter. I was told that improvements had been made.
There was one toilet (clean but basic) One shower (clean but very basic) which was via a 50 pence token. No play area for children. We paid £19 (£5 for the awning) which for the facilities was expensive. It is difficult getting out of the site with caravan hooked up as it is a small entrance/exit on to a very busy road. I was disturbed by the road noise at night.
