We really enjoyed our stay here, facilities were good, including clean toilets/shower (with piped music, a lovely touch - we often found ourselves returning from the loo humming something!), free use of fridge with freezer compartment (ideal for freezing your ice blocks), paid use of washing machine etc.
The site itself is in a lovely and peaceful setting, we enjoyed exploring (getting lost!) in the woods and following the river. Deer park advertised but we didn't see any, though we did see hundreds and hundreds of rabbits!
Ideally situated for days out to Woodbridge, Ipswich, Orford etc. The latter is well worth a visit, and I would highly recommend taking one of the boat trips.
Only downside to the stay was the number of mosquito bites I came away with, but the site can't be blamed for that! Definitely would return again, and will be sure and bring insect repellent.

This is a nice quiet site with plenty of room to put up a tent and park your car. The facilities are nice and clean, although there is only one shower. The location is lovely, in the forest with a stream at the bottom of the main field. The local pub, the Oyster, is well worth a visit, serving nice food and local beer. Its a half an hour walk across the fields.

The campsite is in the middle of nowhere surrounded by beautiful forest. Went with friends and had two adjoining pitches. I'm in a wheelchair and the disabled facilities were well laid out and always clean. The main field is level, and only 36 pitches served by 2 men and 2 women's toilets which are modern. We had the site for ourselves other than at the weekend, but only 9 other pitches taken. Recently changed to adults only so extremely quiet. Owners Brian and Jackie are very friendly and always on hand and care that your stay is enjoyable, they don't have rules only suggestions, (only of course for those without the normal ability of common sense)! Highly recommended.

Great campsite, clean and modern shower block with good facilities. This campsite is in the middle of the forest next to a deer sanctuary so if you are looking for peace and quite then this is perfect. Great for cycling, walking and visiting the surrounding area. The music in the shower block in a nice touch and the owners are very friendly. Showers are 50p and there are a couple of gnats but other than that definitely recommend.

Had a very enjoyable weekend, beautiful walks. Sight owners very helpful. The loos and shower were spotless. 50p for shower which lasted a very long time and was lovely and hot. As previous post said there is a river so take insect repellent for evenings. Would definitely return to this site.

What a find. This is exactly the sort of site we have been looking for in our two years of motorcaravaning. Beautiful quiet area, with as much walking and cycling as you could want.A trip to Orford by bicycle was outstanding. Woodbridge is a lovely place as we know from our own visits some years in the past. The Oyster at Butley is strongly recommended . No jingle jangle machines or juke boxes. A very friendly reception which was the icing on the cake of our long weekend. We will be back if they will have us! Must remember the red wine next time.! Brian has got very clear ideas about behaviour on site. For the benefit of all. The site is immaculate.

What a lovely site! Unlike some other sites we were made very welcome in spite of our slightly unconventional vehicle - a converted 18 seater bus. It's very peaceful due to the adults-only policy and the pitches were perfectly level. The facilities were absolutely first class, loos and showers always spotless and sweet smelling and even though I don't like country music, the tape playing in there added a homely touch. Contrary to the listing, there ARE electrical hookups which are included in the pitch price. Lovely walks through the woods and a beautiful area to explore. There is a river at the bottom of the site which did seem to attract the gnats rather, but apart from that I'd recommend it to anyone.

I had a wonderful week spent in a setting beyond all belief. Coming from mid Essex I'm used to town life and it was really refrehsing to be in a place so remote and well tended,. The holiday let itself is set on a touring campsite surrounded by untouched woodland, a stream runs along the bottom of the larger of the two fields the bank of which overlooks a deer sanctuary. There really are some lovely walks around the area if you take some time to enjoy them . And being an adult only site there aren't hundreds of children running around. All in all a very peaceful and soothing retreat.
For campers there are plenty of electric hookups and I noticed that the showers/toilets were cleaned every morning. The owners were very helpful and went out of their way for me. I really enjoyed my holiday and hope to have many more here.

Staverton Camping Park is just what we were looking for! Very quiet and relaxing site, especially as it's adults only. It is in a lovely area where there is plenty of walks and lots of wild life, the camp site over looks a deer park and the facilities are kept very clean and tidy. They have a holiday let which we hope to use later in the year.

Just returned from a few days in our tent ‘chilling out’, had the field to ourselves being mid-week. Been searching for one like this for years, now being adults only-feel that we can now return during the summer holidays, also the games room gone & showers now 50p-well worth it, very quiet site & friendly owners. Good base for cycling, walking and visiting the surrounding area.
