June 2004 Pleasant open field with central clean shower block and facilities, also modest games room. Quiet site, very off the beaten track feeling. Friendly owners. Bordered by stream. Walks through Forestry commission woods from site. Not well signposted; follow the signs for "Wantisden Valley" from Tunstall and then keep your eyes peeled for tent signs - we couldn't beleive how far from civilisation it seemed to be. Showers expensive at £1 a time but hot and plenty long enough for even the most ardent hair-washer / leg-shaver like me!
