Lovely site run by friendly owners. Lots to do in the surrounding area, beautiful beaches and a fab farm shop nearby.
We spent a week there with five lovely sunny days and then two extremely wet ones. There is an open barn for campers to use - this is fab when the weather turns bad as you can cook in there and the kids can still run around. All the facilities were clean and all contained in one block - again a blessing when it was wet.
Great site for families looking for a small friendly farm based site.

We visited this site with my brothers family after reading the possitive comments on this site, and we were not dissapointed. This is the first time we have stayed at a smaller site (only 24 pitches and 2 yurts) and definitely preferred it.
Pitches are pre-allocated which was fine for us being near the playground as we felt we could let our 3 and 6 year olds roam free without worrying too much. The children loved the site with the great play area, friendly animals, ping-pong table and the pool table was a big hit with our 6 year old.
The site is a good 15 minutes drive from the main road up narrow lanes and don't be tempted to drive through the ford - you may regret it! The locaton is very central to Pembrokeshire but it is a good 30-45 minutes drive to various beaches/tourist attractions, so if you don't mind spending time in the car you will be fine.
The weather was quite wet some days but this was not a problem as the site has good drainage and the toilet/shower blocks kept very clean.
My only slight negative would be the lack of water presure in the shower, although they were very hot.
The free use of the freezer/fridge is a nice idea and I also liked the fact that they played local radio station by the washing up area to keep you company if your alone!
Would definitely visit again - children loved it!

We visited this wonderful site at the start of the summer holidays we are a family with 2 children aged 4 and 5 and a dog, the weather was very kind to us which really did enhance our stay.
The site is kept incredibly clean by both owners and fellow campers, not a scrap of rubbish and showers and sinks spotless.
Loads of local info on the walls, fridges, freezer, washing machine and tumble all very handy.
The owners were a lovely couple who kept out of sight but were on hand instantly if needed by a ring on their bell. There has been so much thought and care gone into the site and it's definitely the best we've stayed at.
All pitches are level except the 2 by the communal firepit which are gently sloping. The woods as mentioned before are very steep.
There is a woodern constructed play area, ponies, dogs, chickens, geese, ducks, pigs, goats and cows, also a barn with table tennis to keep the children amused.
Lots to visit in the local area and beautiful beaches 20-40 mins away.
This was our first visit to Wales and we simply fell in love with this stunning part of the world, would definitely return, the children are still talking about it, so refreshing that the simple things in life can be so much fun and if they're happy we're happy.

We spent two very peaceful weeks at Tir Bach Farm. The pitches are level and spacious and easily accessed once you've negotiated the track to the farm. The view across the wooded valley to the hills beyond is wonderful. We also had a few clear nights to enjoy the fabulous stars we don't usually see (as we live in London).
The wash block is compact but contains everything we needed - four showers (queues were rare as this isn't a large site), loos, under-cover washing up, plenty of hot water (though sometimes a bit of a dribble at busy times), fridges, a freezer, washing machine (£4), tumble drier (£1), phone charging sockets and 24-hour piped Radio Pembrokeshire (our favourite holiday station). When it's busy, the wash block could do to be serviced twice a day rather than once - paper can run out).
We (especially our 7-year-old daughter) enjoyed sharing the company of a variety of animals - including Terry the Turkey and Trevor the Pig. There were lots of children to share games and fun on the excellent playground.
Although the camp site is off the beaten track there is a wonderfully characterful pub at Rosebush (Tafarn Sinc) 3 miles away where we enjoyed good beer and food and beer. Rosebush also has a cheesemaker (Pant Mawr) which houses the village post office as well. Worth a visit.
The site is not that close to the coast, but pretty much every beach in Pembrokeshire can be reached inside the hour. We went to around 10 different ones in a fortnight. I also enjoyed the challenge of cycling around the the Preseli Hills, which are on the doorstep.
We'll be back!

Have just spent 4 nights on this site with friends and it was great, I would heartily agree with all the previous reviews. We were 2 families with 3 children between us all under 4 and it was a great site for them - the playground was good for my 3 year old and all the children loved seeing the animals fed and watching the swallows fly in and out of the washrooms feeding their babies.
The facilities are excellent - good sized showers with plenty of warm water and pressure. Everywhere was kept very clean, even after heavy rain when there was lots of mud and cut grass being trampled about. There are 2 fridges and a freezer in the washroom which were great for keeping milk colder than in the tent. The pitches are level and a good size for plenty of space to yourself. Good hardstanding for cars by each pitch too.
Only downside for us was that the paths down through the woods to the river are just too steep (and slippy after rain) to take small children down so my visions of ambling through the woods didn't really come true! However, the views around the site, and the overgrown areas around the edges of the fields mean there is plenty of wildlife to show the kids.
Overall a smashing site, not too far off the beaten track (Folly Farm about half an hour away) and with everything you could want for a good time with the kids.

We stayed here during half-term and were very impressed with this site.
The drive to the campsite takes about 10-15 minutes from the main road and is along very narrow lanes / tracks. However it's well worth it, as the views are beautiful, there's no traffic noise and the lack of light pollution means that you can experience wonderful starry skies at night.
The facilities are excellent and include fridges, a freezer, washing machine and even a toaster! There are also plug sockets available. The four showers are kept clean with plenty of room to change in the cubicle and the water was always hot - although the pressure does drop at busy times. I only had to wait for a shower once.
There are no pubs/shops in walking distance but you can walk into the woodland and down to the stream. There is also table tennis is the barn and a communal BBQ and campfire.
The pitches are generous in size and on three tiered levels so you didn't feel too crowded.
The site provides an excellent base for exploring. We visited Tenby, Saundersfoot, New Quay and our highlight, a boat trip to Skommer Island to see the puffins. Folly farm is very close for the children.
I'd love to return to this site in the future and would recommend it to campers wanting to 'get away from it all' for a few days.

A great campsite, well-organised and friendly with good facilities. We were there at half-term when the site was 3/4 full. Very child-friendly, though there is a slightly separate area for child-free campers who want more solitude.
This is the only campsite I've been to which has an electric toaster in the utility/washing up room! Also fridge and freezer for use of campers. The kids loved getting up in time to see the pet cow being milked. We'll be going back.

Went here for part of half term and it was wonderful - and unexpectedly uncrowded. Most of the other campers had kids, but it didn't feel at all overrun.
The facilities are spotless, although I suspect they'd struggle to cope so well if all 20 pitches were full, and the owners sold eggs and milk fresh from the cow in the morning. Swallows darted in and out of the shower block and red kites circled above the farm.
The track to the farm is seriously rough in patches and you can't walk to a shop or pub easily, but there is masses to keep the family happy on the site and the playground is visible from most pitches, allowing the parents to relax too!
The surrounding area has so much to offer (obviously) that this makes a wonderfully relaxed holiday base.
The yurts looked pretty special too!

One word to describe this campsite is: amazing
This has to be one of my favourite campsites I have ever stayed on. It is a very picturesque campsite literally in the middle of nowhere, which does mean you have to drive out to do anything but there is a nice farm shop near by and lots of little villages within about a 10 minute drive.
The couple that run the site are very friendly and helpful and have some very well cared for friendly animals. They also sell off their spare chicken and duck eggs, both of which are very tasty.
The campsite itself is well kept and very well ordered with tracks running to each pitch and a parking space meaning the grass isn't ruined by lots of cars driving over it. The toilet blocks are nice and clean, with a nesting pair of swallows is very quaint.
I will definitely be returning.

Wonderful site. The kids really enjoyed the animals and play park. The woodland walk and swing was a big hit too.
Views from the tiered pitches are fantastic, try and stay up late if the sky is clear. There is no light pollution so the entire sky is illuminated by stars.I've never seen so many!
The site is a bit out of the way, and is not for the faint hearted driver ! But the site is well worth a visit... We'll be back again next year. Oh did I mention the fresh free range eggs for sale.
