With just one campsite in Newquay itself, this campsite is probably as near as you are going to get. Its about 15 minutes in a car and £7 in a taxi. When we were there the campsite was full of loud rowdy groups of youngsters playing music from their cars and drinking excessively before a night out in Newquay. It has its own bar and pool and is a 10 minute walk to Crantock Beach through the adjoining campsite. If a night out in Newquay is your objective, this campsite could be a good base. If you desire a relaxing camping break, it would not be your cup of tea.
