We stayed on this lovely Caravan Club site for 2 nights over the Jubilee weekend. Very easy to find just off the M5 so very handy for stop-overs.
On arrival our booking in was friendly and efficient. We ordered our newspapers for the 2 days in advance, for which there was a small delivery charge (5p I think?), and told to select our pitch and let them know the pitch number for them to allocate our barrier key. There were plenty of pitches available both grass and hardstanding. We chose a massive hardstanding pitch right next to the dog walk (to save our old boy's bones!).
There are 2 large toilet blocks on site with adequate facilities for the 200 odd pitches. We never had to queue and always found them to be spotlessly clean. Indoor washing up sinks are also available in both blocks and recycling too. The dog walk is small but excellent and sheltered from the rain by tall trees in some parts! Plenty of dog poo bins for those who are sensible enough to use them (and some didn't!).
Apparently there are wonderful views of the Malvern Hills from the site but during our stay they were well and truly hidden by cloud.
There's a fish and chip waggon on an area between this site and the C&CC site next door, selling fish & chips (and a few other options) 3 or 4 nights a week. Expensive but not bad quality (not like home though!).
The pretty little village of Hanley Swan is approximately a mile away from the site - flat walk, public footpath. It has a village shop, butchers and pub. We didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment but with its village pond it was a nice way to waste an hour or so!
Usual CC facilities and service, which means we'll be back.

Spent 3 nights at this site over the May Day Bank Holiday. The site is very easy to find from Junction 7 of the M5 and the approach is also very easy which would be good for a first time outing.
The wardens were very friendly upon arrival, check in was very quick and easy. We selected a pitch on the higher field, the grass pitches were all closed over this weekend due to the heavy rain prior to the Bank Holiday.
The facilities were very clean and well maintained, the toilets were closed between 2pm and 4pm for cleaning this we found much better than the usual sites which tend to close around 10. 30am meaning that everyone has to rush to shower prior to the close down.
Good site to explore the local area, Great Malvern, Ledbury, and Worcester.

What a lovely site! We can't speak highly enough of this site, the staff and the surrounding area.
After receiving a very warm welcome, we pitched on the grass looking towards the Malvern Hills and thoroughly enjoyed the view for the duration of our stay!
There are some lovely walks on footpaths near the site, and Worcestershire and Herefordshire are gorgeous. We hadn't explored this area before.
If you like tearooms, then visit The Kettle Sings in Upper Colwall. It possesses probably the best view I've ever enjoyed whilst eating a tasty lunch - you look out to the Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons and Mid-Wales. Pre-booking is often essential, (and I am not a member of the staff there!)
The site was beautifully quiet and the facilities really well looked after. We will definitely be going back again!

A friendly welcome to this lovely site, we stayed for 2 nights, wish it was longer!
Well laid out with big pitches and all the facilities are immaculate. The site was lovely and peaceful through the night.
We picked a pitch down the bottom end near the toilet block which was over looked by The Malvern Hills a lovely view
We cycled in to Great Malvern, the last bit was all uphill but great coming back
We would highly recommend this site and we would use it again

Stayed there for Upton Blues Festival weekend, as usual staff very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble.
Site is level and well laid out, enough privacy even though site completely full for festival.
Showers and toilets spotless, only slight drawback was the shower didn't stop on long enough to get a lather, had to keep pressing it on, but clean and tidy nonetheless.
This was our second visit and we recommended it to friends so there was a group of 7 of us staying, we were all very happy with our stay.

Another lovely Caravan Club site which has excellent facilities in 2 blocks which were very clean, with very nice showers which were always hot plus the washing up facilities are indoors, which is much better than being on the side of the building - plus there is a lower sink so the kids were fighting over doing the washing-up - Bliss ! The 2 blocks are closed for cleaning at different times so one is always open which is handy.
Wardens are friendly and check-in was very good. We pitched right next door to the play area as we have 3 children, and the Warden advised that should we not want the kids to have a kick around with a football, it was our choice and he would back us up 100% - nice to see the logic in letting the kids run around with a ball as long as they are careful (which they were 95% of the time). Big play area too with lots of activities to keep the little ones amused.
Many hardstanding areas, plus lots of grass pitches too, which is what we had. We were up against the hedge but it can look a bit regimented with lines of caravans as it is open, but you can tuck yourself away if you want more privacy.
Beautiful views of the Malvern Hills behind us, plus we were lucky and witnessed some glorious sunsets.
There are a couple of pubs in Hanley Swan but we did not visit them, however the Post Office/shop at the crossroads is well stocked. Plus on the road leading from Hanley Swan to the Three Counties Showground is Caravanstuff4U on a little industrial complex, which has plenty of spares should you need anything - really helpful and friendly staff too.
There is a bus that stops outside the site, going to Malvern one way, and Worcester the other, but make sure you get there early to catch it as the day my Mum went, it had apparently turned up and gone 10 minutes early.
Warwick Castle is about an hour away which is great, but very expensive! Plus there are some English Heritage and National Trust properties not too far away as well. The Severn Valley steam Railway at Kidderminster is a great day out, and we went the day it rained. Make sure you stop off at the Engine House half way down the line - very interesting if you like your Steam Engines.
Make sure when you turn in to the access road that you do not enter the Camping and Caravanning Club Site on the right by mistake. Straight on is the Guide campsite, but we only heard them singing aroung the campfire on a couple of occassions. Left is the CC site.
We would recommend this really nice site without any hesitation, and if we are this way again we will definitely stay again.
It is not far from Eastnor Castle, so why not tie in a visit here first before the Caravan Club National Rally in June 2012 ?

My husband and I have just returned from this super 5* caravan site set at the bottom of the Malvern Hills. I have to say we have only joined the Caravan Club the week previous to going and it is our first experience and a very enjoyable one. The greeting on arrival is very friendly and helpful and we very easily found a lovely spot for our caravan. The site is beautifully Kept by the friendly hard working grounds staff, the toilet and shower facilities spotless and regularly checked and very accessible from your pitch also providing laundry room facilities and crock wash sinks. We went for a Sunday carvery at the Swan in Hanley Swan which was very nice and the landlords were very pleasant and staff very attentive although the food and drink were not cheap. We were told the Bluebell up the road was very good and not so pricey and will try there when we go back in August for a few days. I would highly recommend this site and have already rebooked for August bank holiday.

Unlike previous reports we did not receieve a warm welcome from the wardens. Far from it, they were the grumpiest, most abrupt and unhelpful wardens we had experienced during this our first year. By the way, the welsh lady warden was lovely and nothing like this other couple! Not a good start!
The site was very busy and also very wet. We managed to find one of the last hard-standings but like many others at the top of the site it was messy. Many of the pitches desperately need some attention as the water does not drain. Although a lovely area one of the worst Caravan Club sites we've stayed at.
Malvern and surrounding area is beautiful. The hills are great and lots to see and do if you like walking and the outdoors.
Would definitely visit the area again but not this site unless there was some TLC given to the top end pitches and Mr & Mrs Grumpy were away!

Big flat open site - very, very busy with lovely welcoming staff, super clean and large facilities, security barrier and well kept grounds, but overall not really our cup of tea.
Now I am not an old fogie, indeed I have 2 under 2 year old kids, but I felt it was just too open, with rows and rows of caravans all in lines with no planting or hedges to separate or break it up. It felt to us like a static van site / row of terraced houses and we felt like we were in a goldfish bowl, as we had vans in front, behind and to all sides.
The Worcester Guide Camp is next door and there was a fair amount of screaming, singing and chanting - though it stopped at 11pm ish - actually nice to hear them having fun.
Malvern is ok, not much there really and parking is expensive. There are plenty of pubs etc - try the Red Lion for lunch - very good and dog / child friendly. Walking in the area is really what it is all about.
Would stay there again - but only if it was less busy so we weren't like sardines.

Stayed here for two nights, had a nice welcome from the wardens. The site is very big and as there was a jazz festival on it was packed but we found a lovely pitch but unfortunately for us the caravan behind liked to stay up all night sitting outside and they were rather noisy.
We visited clives fruit farm and picked our own strawberries and they were lovely. Would like to stay on this site when its not so busy. The toilet blocks were immaculate a credit to the wardens.
