Our first stay at this site, although we have previously stayed at the CCC site adjacent. Lovely position with great views of the Malverns from some pitches. The site was very full when we arrived, not surprising as it was peak season and there was a motorhome show on at the Three Counties Showground. We ended up on a spacious hardstanding pitch at the foot of the site which was nice but the heavy rain that fell during our stay made this area very muddy and wet.

There is a nice children's playground and all the facilities are excellent. We found the wardens to be pleasant if a little frazzled again unsurprising given the number of people on site.TV reception was not that good although that may have been partly down to the weather.

We walked into Hanley Swan (about 15-20 mins along a footpath adjacent to the road which is quite busy) and had a lovely meal at the Swan. Highly recommended.

We will definitely be back but out of high season when we can pitch higher up for the views and to keep our feet dry!

Nothing to add to this lovely site since our last visit other than that the CC have installed the highest speed ramps that I have ever experienced. The wardens warn you on arrival but the comments book in the information office is full of negative comments regards damage. We were pitched near to a speed bump and cringed on numerous occasions as rigs grinded over the bumps. Be warned they need very low speed to get over.

Lovely site, large site over 200 units, not busy when we were there. £19.60 per night on large hardstanding pitch with EHU. Surrounded by trees, about half the pitches are hardstanding. 2 Toilet blocks. The one we used looked brand new. Adjustable showers with seat.
Friendly staff. Surrounding area beautiful. We only stayed one night as a stop over going back to Scotland but would come again to explore the area.
Managed to see the town of Malvern, amazing church and houses / buildings etc. Small shop in Hanley Swan one mile from site, turn right out of site. Turn left and 3 miles along the road smasll town with a Somerfield. Morrison 5 1/2 miles away. Friendly staff. Would certainly recommend.

This is a lovely site, well up to CC standards. Toilet block is new, well cleaned and maintained. Grass and planted areas well cared for.

Hanley Swan with pub, shop and duck pond is a 1 mile walk away, Upton by Severn is near with a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and lovely walks along the river. We took the reliable, once hourly, 363 bus into Worcester for a day out visiting all the sights. British Camp in the Malvern Hills is interesting, where after a strenuous walk, the views were worth the effort.

There is a well equipped caravan shop nearby (within a mile.)

On the downside, the pitches in the lower part of the site are known to flood in wet weather.

The central grass pitches are too close and not adequately marked out with a place for the tow ball to be placed.

We witnessed an unfortunate caravanner who had parked the rear of his van centrally on the peg, being made to move the front of his outfit by 12 degrees as it was facing slightly in the wrong way! This was when the site was only half full! The wardens were courteous but not friendly, must be new in 2008?. TV reception is variable and some people had brought their own satellite dishes.

Stayed on this site during the really bad weather but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves.

Beautiful views of the malvern hills.

The facilities are first class some of the best showers we have used. It is a big site but wasn't too full. Have stayed on the site next door but prefer this one.

This really is great walking country. And upton upon severn is really worth a visit, we also had a quick day trip into wales.

If you visit you must try phipps the butchers in the village it is great. Also good curry house in malvern.

Stayed here for a 2 night stop-over on our way down south and we wished we could stay longer. When we arrived the site was full but its so well planned out that you don't feel 'penned in' at all. The staff were really nice and friendly, always a smile for whenever you see them. The area is one of real beauty, with loads of things to see and do, (we didn't have time but all the information is there for you on site.) Although its not our thing I can imagine that if your into walking or bike riding this would be your dream location.
The facilities on site are, as always with the CC, the best you will come across.
I'm already feeling the pressure from the rest of the family to book a long weekend or better still a week here for us to relax and chill away all those worries that we all can suffer from, and this really is the place to do it!

We visited during a very wet spell at the end of June when nearby Upton on Severn was on flood alert. Thankfully we opted for one of the pitches in the upper area  (despite being told that the sunsets over the Malvern Hills was best seen from the lower end) as the first morning after a night of very heavy rain those caravans on the lower level resembled moated castles with water some inches deep lapping their awnings.
The dog walk was impossible to venture into for the same reason. I am sure in good weather this site would be very different and at least we enjoyed visiting the local( which was within easy walking distance) and nearby towns of Upton and Malvern.

We visited on a busy Bank Holiday weekend and by golly it can hold a large number of units. Most of the grass area was used and I have to say, it did look like a caravan park at its fullest, probably too large a site for my liking.
Having said that, the facilities held up well, no queuing in the toilet blocks that I found and certainly booking in was quick and painless.
The dog walk is small and well used, I had to keep my grumpy little Jack on a lead.
The hard standing was concrete like when pegging out, I have a number of bent pegs to fix now!
The local area is lovely, we walked to Upton upon Severn for the folk festival and it an easy and very pleasant walk and you can get the 363 back which drops you off right outside the campsites, brilliant.
The Swan at Hanley Swan is also very good for a beer and meal, booking is advisable.

Lovely views of the Malvern hills and a nice quiet location away from main roads. The facilities look as if they have been updated very recently. But it is a big site and the pitches have really been packed in - getting on and off the grass pitches must be difficult if the site is full. The site would be so much nicer if they would reduce the number of pitches and put in some landscaping. It felt too much like a big car park for my taste and I think I would look for a smaller site from which to explore this area. It did seem popular with families with young children, all pitched around the play area.

Very, very nice. Spent three cold nights and three colder mornings at the start of February. Wonderful toilet facilities, showers etc. Quiet, quiet and quiet - it was winter after all, but plenty of other mad caravanners to pass the time of day with.
Would definitely stay here again if we came to this part of the world.
I liked it.
