Absolutely love this site run by Sam and her family.
Really helpful on places to visit, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. This is the second time we have visited and due to go again in a few days.
Toilet and shower block are immaculate.
Very secure electric gate.
It’s a working farm so expect a few sheep wandering by if they are being changed fields also a very friendly white cat who likes to visit.
Definitely recommend and probably won’t be our last visit.
See you soon Sam x

Stopover on way to Cornwall
It's only mile and a bit from junction 12/m5
Met at the gate by a very pleasant man who guided us to our pitch , he does everything on the site and keeps it spotless
The amenities building is new with a laundry room as well one of the best we have been in,
From our first call to arriving on site everything was spot on
Would recommend this site bit of road noise but hey ho

A very clean and well maintained site with excellent toilet and shower facilities.
A bit of road noise but nothing to keep you awake.
The owners will make you welcome and Zak will give you all the help you need. About 5 miles from city.
Yes, recommended.

Best kept site I can remember, couple who run it are fantastic.
Sandwiched between 2 busy roads so there is traffic noise but not invasive.
Countryside around to die for, pubs river’s canals it’s got it all

Site was well laid out and plenty of room between units. Owners are very friendly and say to deal talk to.
Toilets and facilities were spotlessly clean even on a Bank holiday period.
Would highly recommend.
One slight down note. Did find the pitch we were on (first in the gate) was very noisy through traffic from A38.
The site is susceptible to traffic noise being located between M5 and A38 but that shouldn’t detract from a lovely site.

What a wonderful site. Safe, friendly and clean. Sam and Roger were lovely and helpful and their son (didn’t get his name) was so patient helping me reverse on our pitch.
I can honestly say the toilet block was the cleanest I have EVER seen. (And I’ve been caravanning and camping for 20+ years).
Only 20 mins from home but could’ve been anywhere.
Definitely our new “go to site”!

We had originally booked a two night stay as a stop-off on our journey back to Lancashire from Cornwall.
Actually the weather was so rough in Cornwall that we decided we would like to head back a day early, so rang the owners, and they were able to accommodate us on the Saturday instead of the Sunday night.
In the end the facilities were so good that we stayed three nights anyway, and would happily return to Gables Farm, having been impressed by the automated security gate; lots of space, and choice of pitches, with EHU and water close at hand;
Fantastic modern and clean toilet and shower block and disposal facilities;
Easy access to and from M5;shops and petrol station close at hand; dog walking in the orchard (and an apple crumble);
Friendly people; great base to explore the Cotswolds. Yes, there is a little noise from the road at night or early morning, but it didn't bother us unduly.
Excellent.

Very warm welcome by owner.
Facilities modern and immaculately kept. Covid measures in force with plenty of sanitiser available.
Very secure site, within an orchard setting with grass pitches and some level hard standings. Easy access from main road and within a couple of miles of junctions of M5, so ideal stopover if travelling north or south.
Originally booked for 4 nights but extended to 8. Ideal for visiting Gloucester for shopping, the Cotswolds, and Sharpness canal for walking/cycling along the towpath, and Slimbridge wetlands centre.
Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area, and great value at £16 per night.

Fabulous site. After a long, frustrating, drive from Cornwall, we made a late booking at Gables Farm. What a lovely, friendly welcome from the owners. Nothing was too much trouble.
The facilities were spotless, too. They even offered to let us pick, and have, some of their fruit. There was a bit of road noise, but no problem for us.
It was just an overnighter for us, but we will be back to explore the area.
