Just returned after one week's camping, excellent site, quiet and small. Facilities were very good, toilet area which was a portacabin was very clean with power showers, loads of hot water. An indoor heated swimming pool was available for private hire on site, which we used also very good. The owners, Geoff and Hazel were very pleasant and obliging. The nearby pub in Ainstable the new crown inn, which we used throughout our stay for meals run by Paul and Vicky, offered a comprehensive menu (massive portions) at very reasonable prices. In conclusion, first class site and we certainly will use again in the very near future

I camped on this site last year and wrote a review about how good it was. I have just had a week there, and the hook ups are all in now and working. The farmer as put new power showers in and they are great. Tried the pool out this year it is brilliant. (Don't know if I should be telling everyone about this site, I will probaly not get on myself)

I was there two weeks ago - called in to see the farmer about some local food I had ordered, and he as installed showers and toilets. Just letting you know, because in my other review there was no shower or toilet facilities.

This is a brand new site, at the moment there are no hook ups or showers, but do not let that put you off. This site is in fantastic country, it has a picnic area and on the farm there is a swimming pool with changing rooms and a jacuzee. Also a fitness room all available to hire by the hour.
There are three pubs nearby and all have food available, plus a paper shop and off licence. The people are so friendly and the surrounding area as walking, fishing and country cycling. There is a local rail station for the Settle/Carisle railway.
If you want a peaceful and panoramic small adult only site give this one a try, you will not be disappointed. Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept under control and are on leads. Faugh Head Farm is located in the Eden Valley, I thought I was in the garden of Eden.
