Thought this was the best site I have been to for a long time. Staff friendly, took 4 year old boy for the first time he loved it. Play area was a bit limited but had 3 large trampolines some old swings and a football pitch with lots of space to run around.

Facilities were excellent, recently built and very very clean had to put a £10 refundable deposit for swipe card but all was free. Grass was flat with electric hook ups for many pitches and water taps every where. Mablethorpe about 8 miles away. Will visit again very pleasant first time for my son.

Good large site, Facilities are very new and very good, nice size shower and changing cubicles. The powder room is a very nice touch, the washing up facilities and washers etc plenty of room.

This site also has a large family wash room which is great if you have smaller children.

We stayed in the new motor-home area this has convenient electricity points and water taps.

Looking around the site the caravan and trailer tents were on a flat grassed area and seemed to have no problems pitching. The tent field however did have a lack of water points, but a good amount of pitches with electricity.

The staff at the site and in Woody's were very welcoming, as were the regulars from the site.

There are 2 good size ponds and an excellent 18 hole golf course that don't cost an arm and a leg The food in the bar was good and not over priced. The garden centre and the aquatics centre also well worth a visit, and they are in walking distance.

I will return but either in the tent or with an additional car as it is limited as to where you can walk to.

The kids found plenty to do around the swings, goal posts and trampolines, I just had to go looking for them to go off anywhere or to get them in at night.

First impressions very happy. I brought my tourer and awning here for the season, reasonable rates, site very clean and friendly so far. Wasn't too happy at the extra £55 you pay for card and shower key I think this is a lot although you do get it back when you leave but becouse we here for season I think its a lot.

Restaurant has very nice food although did have wait a while but I think that is because its still early in season. They are building new shops but building noise isn't that bad. One really bad thing is all pitches appear to be hard standing and when I say hard I mean hard. You have to drill the floor to put awning up, no joke. I had go Louth and buy a power drill, so if coming for weekend please note this. But apart from this so far so good.

Haven't used used shower block yet but the mrs says its nice. Had small problem but staff sorted it no problems so so far 9/10. Will update in April as to how thing are going. One thing I cant wait to try is the 18 hole golf course on site. Looks a good one and also has fishing lake and none of these cost the earth either. You get a buggy for the golf ha ha not sure if that a good thing or not ha.

Just got back from a weekend with a few mates. Soon as we got to the site which was easy to find, we visited reception & was shown to our pitch by friendly staff. The site was ideal for us as we wanted a weekend of golf & we loved the golf course. The toilet & shower block was ok, seen better but definitely wouldn't complain. The water was hot. The pot washing room was decent sized. We used the bar and was happy with the prices & the pool.

Would definitely visit again!

This was our first time camping and loved it! Well signposted and a friendly welcome when we arrived. Shown to our pitch and left to get on with it. Once got set up we went to Woodys bar for a meal. Good food and reasonable prices. From then on always bbq as the weather was brilliant!
The toilet and shower block near the camping field are not great, they really need an upgrade. But went to reception and got a key to the ones near the statics.Much better. New, immaculate, brilliant. Shame that the same standard is not given to tents and tourers!

All in all, a very friendly, relaxed sight. Little boy liked the small park and trampolines. Fishing pond and golf course looks nice, but we didn't use. Went round the garden centre, which is well stocked and not over priced. There is a maze and play area for kids, as well as a couple of goats.

The site was very pretty, in a nice location, out of the way. The kids were very bored. The trampolines is all there is for them.

Over the road is the pretty impressive woodthorpe garden centre. The parking is good, the entrance is a bit strange, you walk in and turn to the right then the left then try and sqeeze past the items before you are actually in there! Once in it is lovely. The displays are eye catching and the staff very helpful. The only downside I could see in the garden centre itself was a very dirty worn patchy carpet and long queues. The whole till layout is very badly designed and outdated. On the whole though it is well worth a visit (just eat before you go, the cafe prices are out of this world!)

There is also an aquatics centre nearby (if you can find it, very very badly signposted!) which is clean and worth visiting.

I would go back to the site again although not with the kids.

We have just returned from a long weekend visit, we were disappointed with this site.  The electric kept tripping out, and the warden ended up showing us how to reset the switch ourselves, they claim this was due to the number of people their over the weekend, however on Tuesday when the site was relatively empty we had the same problem. The toilet block was a porta cabin, the sink taps in the ladies wouldn't run unless you kept your hand on them. There were 3 showers, the cubicles were very small, not enough room to change in them. One didn't work, and one had 4 inches of water in the tray when you had finished as it wasn't draining (filled with dirt and other people's hair). My husband didn't dare brave the men's showers whilst we were there!
There was a large field for kids to play in which was nice, it also had a few trampolines, however no swings/slides etc.
The location of the site is good, as it is within 30 minutes of both Sutton-on-sea, Mablethorpe, and Cadwell Park.

Park OK not much to do but enjoyed our stay. Gad a Sunday dinner in pub next door and rated it a must and don't have to drive. Price very good for bank holidays nnot too expensive as some places try to rob you! Downside electric kept going off had one full night without electric very cold - excuse was a main supply to park but after reading this site seems an ongoing thing. Would go back if electric is sorted

Just come back from long weekend break at Woodthorpe Hall leisure park. I found site basic in comparison to the costs per night. There was very little for the children to do other than a couple of trampolines, fishing is at an extra cost. The weekend cost us just over £100 for 3 nights, which is alot to say there were only a few things to do.
Toilets block were clean but could do with modernisation. Probably won't visit again.

Stayed on site over Easter. Very busy, was shown to pitch and left to get on with it. Toilets were a porta cabin. Heated, but not the best.

Power kept failing during every evening for an hour at a time. Owners blamed it on the number of electrical items each caravan had switched on, although they later said there was also an electric fault. They eventually refunded £2 per night for electrics.
Pub next door (golf club house) very good, childrens games room had pool and table football. Garden centre, golf course and fishing were about 5 mins walk away.

Locality excellent, pity about toilets and power. Not sure we will be returning - may be out of season when its not busy
