Had one night away at this site with the family and cannot recommend it highly enough. The owner, who took a little bit of finding, was very friendly, booked us in and went through the facilities on site and height barrier arrangement

The pitches were well laid out and each numbered with a flower pot, all hard standing (gravel) with each pitch having its own post with EHU, water and TV aerial. (we only used the water point)

Recently built shower block which was clean and fresh, didn't use the showers but this was only due to the one night stay and forgetting a towel.

Well lit at night with bollards but this was not over the top and a problem in the van.

Childrens play area was basic but fit for purpose, a double swing unit (babies and childs), child friendly area.

Not far away from Blackpool and Fleetwood, we visited both.

Would recommend this site and will be back if in the area.

A pleasant 5 van CC site attached to a larger commercial site (about another 12 vans. The commercial site is a recent addition along with the toilet block,

Site is clean and tidy and well laid out, the welcome is friendly and the price reasonable.

The toilet block is of excellent quality and cleanliness although, because the heating is switched by the same movement sensor as the lights, during the sub-zero temperature of our visit they were too cold to use.

I would suspect that the toilet facilities would be under pressure when the site is full.

A real gem of a site. We are new to caravanning and the owners made our stay pleasant. Plenty of room and very quiet on our visit. We will be returning in 2011!

Very good price too with all facilities near the van. A short drive to Garstang - great little shopping area.

They also have a booster access for your TV aerial which made the picture even better.

The owners were kind enough to let us use some land at the back of the kennels they had to exercise the dogs!

Nice relaxing stay at this site but a distance to walk to pubs etc.

This was our first visit to a CL site always use the club sites. The site is very nice and very well looked after. The owner was so nice even his children waved at it when we were going out. Lovely people.

The pitches were fab. The shower block was brand new and really nice. Everyone on the campsite were friendly and we will definitely be going back. Brilliant little site a credit to its owner.

Just had a weekend away at this site and cannot recommend it highly enough. After moving from tents to a caravan this was our first 'outing' with our van so chose a small fairly local site. The owner(very friendly) came out to greet us and booked us in and went through the facilities on site and handed us a map of the local area which I can safely say is the first time I've been on a site which does this. Even though we roughly know the area, I would imagine this to be a 'godsend' to people that weren't so familiar with the area.

The pitches were well laid out with each pitch having its own post with EHU, water and TV aerial.

There is one bathroom which is operated by your own key, which was fab - really good shower and plenty of hot water and kept very clean. There is a small shop on site, although we didn't use it. Will defo be returning to this site in the near future. Fantastic!

This site is very easy to find.

A lovely site which is undergoing development at the moment. Very friendly owners and very helpful. Site is lovely and clean. The new toilet block is not yet finished but it should be soon (weather permitting).

Bollards have tv/electricity and water hook up and the reception is brilliant. I would certainly use this site again - A+++

We had a very pleasant weekend at this site. It only has one toilet and shower but never caused any issues. Keycoded main gate added security to this site. Not far to drive to Blackpool, Morecambe and Lancaster for an afternoon out.
Shop on site is run from a Static Caravan, this is run on trust, for any small items you may have forgotten plus sweets and ice creams, nice little finishing touches that make this a very nice site. Water, Elcy and TV reception from bollards make this a recommended site to visit.

The site is magnificent. Really quiet and very relaxing. We had the most wonderful reception from the owner - very friendly. The pitches are all hardstanding and very level. On the bollards there is electricity, TV plug-in and drinking water - which is great as you don't have to drag your aquaroll a long distance.

The picnic benches on site were put to full use - what a great idea! The small shop is fantastic, we ran out of coffee and so popped in and there is was, brilliant idea. The icecream freezer was put to great use, especially on the really hot days.Good information centre aswell. The shower romm was always kept spotless and had everything we could ask for. The shower was put to great use.

Would we return again? - Yes, infact we have booked severl breaks ther for this and next year.

We will be voting this one for 'CL of the year'

Give it a go - you won't be disapointed.

This site is lovely. The pitches are wide and spacious and the welcome we received was outstanding. The idea of a little shop that is in a static is great you leave payment on trust. I would recommend this site to anyone. Would agree with review above only downside is quite a walk to Garstang.
