 We have just returned from a lovely weekend based at this campsite, and are looking forward to our next visit there! The site was hard to find, this in part being due to it's location well off of any main roads.
When we finally found the site we received a warm welcome from the owner. The site is in a beautiful, quiet spot with extensive views, there was no road noise at all. The wash facilities were basic however and low water pressure made the showers temperamental. This said, they were clean and just adequate for the number of people using the site.
The site is about a mile from the nearest pub (Hulme End) and a couple of miles from the village of Longnor.
We would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a quiet site and doesn't mind basic facilities.
