 Great little site,

Easy walk to Hulme End.

Hook up, toilets and showers- don't forget 50ps for the showers.

Hardstanding was fine.

Dean was really hospitable.

 Fantastic weekend.

Wonderful situation with a fabulous view, quiet and peaceful surroundings.

Everything done via the internet and extremely Covid secure with hand sanitizer at every point.

Fantastic quiet location. CL site so lots of room. The owner is shielding but very helpful, as was her son.

We were very impressed that every contact point (gate, tap etc) had sanitizer next to it. Facilities closed.

Nice cycle into the village of Hulme End and the beginning of the Manifold Valley Cycle Path.

Would very much recommend if you are after lovely scenery, peace and quiet (apart from the sheep!) and space.

Would visit again.

Lovely site, friendly and welcoming site owners. The site is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Good facilities which are very clean, just need to take a supply of 50p coins for the showers.

Would definitely recommend this site.

Confirm other reviews, a lovely peaceful site although facilities are a bit basic. I couldn't get a mobile signal (Vodaphone) nor TV and of course no internet: a real get away from it all break with lovely helpful owners.

If you want to use your satnav to get there enter the following co-ordinates:

N53. 144190 W1. 856694 This will take you right up to the gate which, if you have a motorhome or are towing a caravan, you should always approach from the South.

Enjoy it, we did.

Had 4 nights at this great site which is very well kept and has plenty of room.

Very helpful owners who went out of their way to arrange an ehu into the small field next to the entrance drive for our exclusive use – very nice.

Excellent clean facilities for a site with a small number of users.

The site is on a very quiet country lane with very little traffic and there are plenty of walks in the nearby area and the nearest pub with food is 20-25 mins walk in Hulme End (which also has a small shop and Tea Room).

Thoroughly recommended.

Recently returned from a weekend here and would recommend/re-visit. Site is very well kept. The toilets (one male/one female) spotlessly clean and hand towel replaced daily, toilet roll and soap always available. The two showers/wash area also very clean. Showers cost 50p but more than sufficient time to do the necessary ! There is an undercover washing up area, chemical disposal point and washing line. Plenty of walking on public footpaths close by. Hulme End is the closest village with pub and shop. Using public footpath across fields took approx 15-20 minutes to walk to (would be just a few minutes longer by road). The Manifold Trail from Hulme End is a lovely walk. Dogs are welcomed on site but must be on a lead. Owners friendly and helpful. Slightly sloping/bumpy but it is possible to site level without blocks.

A great little campsite. We had tried to book onto a few others within the area, however they were all full and frankly having driven past some during our visit, I am so glad as this was a brilliant little site.

We arrived on Friday afternoon and after some initial issues finding it with our sat nav, we rang for directions and the owner came out to meet us to guide us in. You can't meet a more attentive owner.

The site is small but great, as they don't pack you in so you have a great view wherever you are pitched.

The toilets and showers, although maybe be viewed as basic by some were spotless with handwash and toilet paper provided.

On Saturday night a group who were partaking in the Duke of Edinburgh award arrived. It is great to see a campsite helping kids to get out into the Great Outdoors.

We will definitely be coming back, thank you for a great stay and very reasonable too.

We had only booked for 2 nights but enjoyed it so much stayed an extra night.

The site is a great base for surrounding areas. Dove dale is very quaint and pretty as is Tissington and worth a visit.

We are regular visitors to this site and have just returned from our most recent stay. The owners are very friendly and facilities always spotless. The site situated in the picturesque Peak District, is level and never overcrowded. Each time we return the owners always strive to do something to improve the site. A few years ago a nice wooden fence was put up and flowers planted in some tyres. This year the owners have planted some trees around the edges which will be ideal wind breaks. 10 out of 10!

Just stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. Read reviews, rang up on day of travel and friendly owner who said no problems to stay.

Field was flat, enclosed(good for dog) and more importantly, not crowded, next to a VERY quiet small road.

Was surprised, however at the cost which was per person(and dog) rather than tent size. My partner and I have 3 kids and 1 dog so paid £20 per night!(Our tent is a basis 4 man tent). Margaret, the owner, is very friendly and almost apologetic when telling me the price. Facilities were kept very clean and there was little, if any queueing. We did not use the showers as you needed 50p to use it. The cold water taps were VERY lively-push down type that splashed everywhere with great force. Hot water for washing up was limited to a few hours in morning and evening, although washing up area is covered with a table.

We had a great weekend with hot weather and discovered Pilsbury castle in Dove valley-really pretty walk. The Pack Inn in Crowdecote has a lovely garden and a really friendly owner with good beers.
