We love this site. We spent a week with our teenage sons. Lovely location. Helpful staff who speak good English. Pool was fantastic and open until 9 pm. Shower / toilet blocks very clean; there were 2 sets of identical unisex showers in each block so only one set at a time was closed for cleaning. However, the shower temperature kept varying during the course of a shower, from hot to lukewarm and back. Our pitch was well-shaded, between an apple and a plum tree. We didn't use the bar or restaurant as they appeared expensive. We went kayaking downstream from nearby St Dye sur Loire and were picked up by the canoe hire people afterwards. We also hired bikes from the site reception and spent half a day cycling in the Forest of Chambord. The nearby chateaux of Chambord and Blois are good value for money.

A good site but expensive. Near to the fantastic Chateau de Chambord whose garden you can walk about for nothing.
The campsite is clean and well catered for. Toilet blocks are good, clean and fully equipped. Showers have plentiful hot water.
The restaurant looks wonderful but we have had take away each time we have been (twice) due to the cost and the kids. Food good.

This was a very pleasant site, the children absolutely loved it, and still say it was their favorite (although we do tend to head for the quiet municipals!). Pool great, although not enough chairs or loungers. Nice little play area. We stayed 2 nights. Downside for us was the Keycamp element: too many Brits (singing 'when the saints go marching in.'???) but on the whole it was quiet and very friendly. We just didn't feel like we were in France, more a British out-post. So we were ready to move on. Reception spoke perfect English. It looked as though there was organised entertainment for children, although we avoided it. Pitch was lovely and shady, loos very clean, showers large, although there was no water at one point and it didn't get sorted for about 8 hours. Very expensive, more than twice any other site cost us in a month! - 50 euros per night for us, went next to Belle-vue in Muide-sur-Loire 2 miles away, we preferred that one really; all French or Dutch. Vive la differance I suppose!

We used this site for a two night stop over on the way home from the South. It was really lovely with good facilities and nice shady pitches. The pool area was particularly good. We enjoyed drifting in the lazy river. Blois and Beaugency were both good for evening meals out.

We spent 10 nights at this site. This is an excellent site with very good WCs / showers. Pitches are large, well shaded and divided. Probably best for adults / younger families as there is little there for teens. The swimming pool is excellent, they have just added a "lazy river" Its close to Chambord - easy cycle if you like!

We used this site as a stopover travelling through to the south west of France and only stayed for one night. It is a lovely site and we would definitely consider going back for a longer stay. Even though we were in a static we went to have a look at the shower block(usually we use a tent) and as with most French sites we have visited the showers and toilets were spotless. There was plenty to do for the kids which they were glad of after travelling in the car for so long. We made us of the takeaway which sold the usual pizza's, chicken, chips etc and the service was great. The bar has a nice area to sit outside and watch while the kids run around in the play area.

Fantastic site, suitable for all ages. Beautifully kept grounds, lovely pool area and nice play area for young children. Good mix of tents, caravans and Eurocamp/Keycamp etc. Toilets/showers are spotless. Site has reasonably priced restaurant, although service can be a bit slow, nice bar area to sit in the evening, smalll but adequate shop, also bakery 5 mins bike ride away in village. Activities for children, bike and go-kart hire, circus acts one evening a week. Chambord park just up the road, go at dawn/dusk to see wild boar, deer etc, Chateau itself is a must, busy in summer but well worth it. Loads to do in the area, we've been twice to this site, will definitely go again.
