Visited this site hoping to have a quiet break with some fishing. The site is well set up with pitches having a private area secluded with trees. The site is quiet and was a relaxing break as we had hoped. The fishing was not as expected as there was a large amount of weed in the pond making fly fishing difficult. The owner was friendly and did mention he intended to add further stock of brown trout.
The only negative was the toilet and shower block. We had a small child and did not want to use the facility as it required some work to be comparable to others we had visited.
This site has great potential as the location and surroundings are superb. If they had facilities with an improved shower and toilet block then I would return.

Just got back from a fantastic weekend at Ginger Hill. This is a really pretty campsite with lots of secluded areas to set up camp so you feel like you're on your own in the middle of the wilderness even though you can get to the beach or town very quickly and easily.
We pitched by one of the ponds and the site owner kindly provided us with some wood for having a campfire. We baked potatoes in the campfire and had a fab time.
The facilites are simple but effective. The shower/toilet block is kept clean with free hot water, soap and loo roll. The rates are very reasonable also.
I would thoroughly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a friendly, relaxed approach to camping where you make your own entertainment. I will definitely visit Ginger Hill again.

When I first saw this campsite online it was advertised as having 11 pitches so I booked them all for a weekend break with friends and family. We had the whole campsite to ourselves the kids loved the fishing and the campfires which we were allowed to have. A real camping experience in a very quiet area. Owners were lovely they joined us on the Friday for a few drinks. 2 toilets and 1 shower in ladies same in mens in a portakabin. Outside sink for washing dishes. Great for family groups.

We visited this site with friends, staying 3 nights, and found it a lovely, peaceful, relaxing site with friendly and helpful owners.
The site has 11 electric hook-ups, some set in secluded woodland - ideal for windy weather and out of season visits. The owner has plans to install more electric hook-ups including some in the tent areas. The toilet and shower block is newly installed and is kept clean and tidy, as is the washing and recycling areas.
The site is large but doesn't immediately appear so, with nooks and crannys to pitch tents and caravans, and the walks around the site, including the large ponds are very relaxing and enjoyable.
The site is ideally placed for days out throughout South West Wales with Haverfordwest, Cardigan, St Davids and Tenby within a short driving distance.
We look forward to returning as it is one of the nicest sites we have stayed at.

We visited this site for 2 nights and found the owmers very friendly. It has only been open a year and is constantly being improved, they have around 30 acres of which you are welcome to wander around, 3 lakes which have trout and carp. It has 11 hook ups, some of which were in private wooded areas. There is loads of room for tents, plenty of places to camp privately if you wish. It has a small toilet block which has 1 toilet and 1 shower in the ladies and mens which was also very clean, a butler sink for washing up, a chemical toilet disposal and bin area. It is in a lovely setting, very peaceful and rural, of the 4 units that were camping there all said they would return, highly recommended. Only 5 mins from haverfordwest, carboot sale on saturday and market on sunday at local airfield (10mins)
