We arrived at the site on the Friday evening of the bank holiday weekend. This site has changed dramatically since our last visit. There are more pitches available with two new fields opened up for both caravans and camping. This site has all access roads around the site, now even on the camping fields. A lot of hard work has been done on this site and is very private from the main road,
The owners are very helpful and pleasant who do look after you. The toilets are very clean considering the site was pretty full that weekend. There is a local pub with good food and plenty of other pubs within a couple of miles, local post office and 5mins drive Tesco express and chippy.
We love this site and you can see the owners take a lot of pride in it, also improving it all the time, this does take time as rome wasn't built in a day and the weather is predictable in rome, however we had a really good time and the weather was exceptional, that nice we decided to make the most of it and stayed till the Tuesday.
The electric cost for us wasn't that bad, we put £10 on the meter however there was £2 already on it, the £12 lasted us till the Tuesday so happy days. All the pitches have running water, grey waste take away and on hard standing.
There are two fishing lakes on site which are full of lovely big fish, which we managed to catch a couple. Nice rewarding afternoon fishing. Overall I would recommend this site to anyone being they are camping, caravanning or in a motorhome.
We will 100% be going back to peachley for another break, this site is definitely worth a visit.
I can not see how people can slate this site. As for not a lot for kids to do, well when I was a child we found plenty to do with no computers, playstations, mobile phones etc etc, a push bike if you were lucky and a bag of marlies oh and a bat and ball never did I get bored. As for the site, people who slate is MUST pay a visit to speck savers, I'm sure this is their problem.

Me and my wife arrived at peachley early morning on the bank holiday weekend to stay for 4 nights we had a very warm welcoming and our first impressions were great! We had a great pitch and was shown where everything was including the local pub which served great food for a reasonable price, (approx 10min walk) and the local tesco (5min car journey). The staff at peachley leisure helped with anything we needed. Also shower block was spotless, very well maintained and cleaned daily. This park was one of our favourites due to the warm welcoming and great park itself, we will be returning next bank holiday.

We have just got back from this site and I have to say we were a little disappointed.
The site entrance takes you past a small industrial estate and really doesn't look great. The look of the site is generally a little untidy. There are a LOT of seasonal pitches on site and it actually looked like some people all but lived there. It didn't look like a popular touring site and as such really wasn't our bag.
The toilet block was functional but I would say the cleanliness left a little bit to be desired.
Nothing much to do for young children, the signs up say no cycling or scooters to be used around the park.
Owners were helpful and pleasant.
You have to pay for showers and the electric, we didn't have a problem with that, but I just thought it was worth noting.
Would we return, no, we have been to far better sites that are better laid out and have a much nicer feel about them.

Nice Site, as expected. Directions as listed on website absolutely 'bob on'.
My only issue with this site is that on UK campsites or the camps own website it doesn't tell you that you have to purchase electric cards, was a bit of a surprise, especially as travelling on a budget.
BUT not as much of a surprise as not being told that the showers are also coin operated. I don't mind paying for extras as long as it is forewarned!
Glad we only stayed one night as there isnt that much to do locally, especially with young children.
The local pub although looked very nice and had attractively priced meals. Was fully booked.
Might be worth mentioning that if you intend on eating out then it is best to pre book.
This was just a stop over for one night on our way to another campsite, and quite glad about it, to be honest.

It was the worst rainfall in thirty years when we decided to go camping, but that didn't matter, when we got to pechley the owners and the grounds were fantastic, the views around the site were breathtaking, I've never seen such clean and well maintained toilet/shower facilities. Cant wait to go again next year. This is one place I shall be glad to tell all my family and friends about. The site was close to all the amenities that you need even a cake factory what more could you ask for

Stopped on site just for one night our friends had just purchased a tent and wanted to try it out. Was a last minute decision didn't know anything about site, but was very impressed. Lovely spacious pitches, friendly and helpful owners, very clean and tidy site and toilets. Shower block nice but have to pay 20p for a very quick shower. Was a pub down road about 10 min walk we did't try but was told nice. Will visit again nice for a weekend break.

Stayed at Peachley Touring caravan Park had a fantastic time,
Toilets were very clean. The lady in reception was very helpful as was the young man who showed us our pitch.
Pub, tesco Express was about a mile away, all in all would definitely stay there again as I am sure we will in the future.
The site was very busy but the people who run the site still had time for every one who needed help in any way.

The site has been significantly developed since we went previously and is due to expand again.
Previously the tent field was just an open field but now it has had electric hook ups and water points installed as well as a quality gravel roads.
As ever it depends on what you like, we prefer a large open field where there is plenty of space for ball games near your tent. With the development Peachley has lost some of this but the improvements have been done well and even on the very busy Jubilee weekend it didn't feel over crowded.
The current toilet/washing up facilities are clean, they are a short distance from the tent field but understand a further facility is planned.
We felt welcome, excellent pub nearly and Tesco Direct.
Nice views in open rolling country side.

The site's location was very good for our requirements. It is quite a large site with pitches well spaced.
The lady on reception was flustered when we were checking in. A young guy on a quad bike was asked to show us to our pitch but kept us waiting as he stopped to have a chit chat with another guest. We heard the conversation and it was not the other guest who stopped him to chat as she seemed quite disinterested.
Toilet/shower facilities were very good. A criticism of the toilets located next to reception however was that there was not any toilet paper for the two days we were there so you had to take your own. There also was no hand soap. My children used these toilets as the other block was too far from where we were sited.
Dog friendly site. Would be good if there was a playground for the children. Good local Tesco Direct.
Would stay here again if in the area and needed place to stay.

We arrived on the Friday of the Jubilee weekend and was given a beautiful pitch,
The owners was very warm and welcoming, the shower blocks was very clean considering it had rained all weekend,
I can definitely recommend this site,
Only slight criticism would be it needs a shop or just essential supplies like milk, tea and coffee for sale would be a benefit,
This is a very dog friendly site with plenty of good walks for them,
We have a large tent but found we had ample room between each other,
The site was very clean and the bins was emptied every morning,
