Upon arrival at the site you are greeted by a dry dirt track which is very dusty as cars drive over it, this maybe a small thing but first impressions count, we thought it was an industrial estate.
We made our way to reception to be greeted by the site owner who was abrupt and not very helpful.
The site itself is ok
the toilet block was a fair walk from the camping field and the showers are coin operated giving 5 mins for 20p.
The layout of the site could do with some work ie another toilet block and washing up facilities.

We organised a rally last December for eleven units. Everyone commented on the lovely site and the facilities. We received a warm and friendly welcome from the site manager.
The open views and lovely countryside made up for the industrial units, which once on the site were not in view. The owners were very helpful and accommodating especially as we were booking for a large number of vans.
The club will certainly use this site again.

Site; Clean. Weell kept. Good management. As you enter the site it would be nice to see something in the open space instead of just worn grass.
Facilities; Toilet block with separate facilities for menand women, disable/wetroom toilet, sluice(to empty toilets), washing yp/laundry room. Reception area; tables outside, toilets and shower room, food available, indoor seating area, booking area for quad biking
Quad biking and 2 fishing lakes and one breeding pool. Car park by reception by fishing pools and by the touring area.
Sites; 1 basic field for tents, one hard standing with electric area for tourers and more private area for permanent tourers.
Excellent walks and management are superb. Surroundings are lovely and close to Worcester and loads of pubs nearby. Organised rubbish area. Own electric and water. Brilliant site

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. I chose this site because of the location (excellent) and the extra facility of a fully serviced pitch, (water/ grey waste and mains hook up).
We were a little disappointed however as I found only one hard pitch that actually had a grey waste drain and unfortunately I had already activated the credit for my electric supply so it was too late to move the van over to it.
When I asked the owner to show me where the waste drain was he eventually found one covered over by grass and way too far away to be of any use what so ever (even with my extension waste pipe) so I had to use my wastemaster as usual.
The hard standings seem to be positioned too far away from the service point so you will require a long mains lead and a very long water supply hose or ignore the hard standing and pitch further back on the grass.
The toilet block is very nice and kept clean, however, the shower cubicles were no bigger than the one in our caravan and as we had to pay extra for a shower we used our own (BTW the timed coin-ops are not in the cubicle itself so if you don’t put enough money in first place you will be faced with having to leave your cubicle and walk over to the entrance door to put some more money in).
Overall very roomy basic site but not for us I’m afraid.

Visited this site for the Easter break 2011. Went with family in two tents, a folding camper (us) and a motor home. We were pitched in two different fields. All in all it is a nice site and we really enjoyed our stay.
There is one shower / toilet / wash / washing up block which was kept clean and, though not that big, there were always toilets and showers free. Showers cost 20p for five min which was fine for men/kids and 40p was enough for hair that needed washing and rinsing twice and then conditioning!
The tent field is furthest away from the toilet block and actually too far for those with little ones however the reception left the main building open at night so the toilets in there could be used, due to the tent field being occupied. The site would benefit from adding washing up facilities at the reception end too as it is a little too far for tent campers to walk to the washing up sinks.
There was some noise at night however people seemed to obey the quiet time rules.
There are also lots of fields running behind the site that you can access to walk dogs and it was fine to let well behaved dogs off the lead in these fields.
Worcester only down the road and there is also a tesco express near by.
Would recommend the Bell Inn down the road for food too.
We booked the quad bike experience that is attached to the site and we enjoyed that whilst one of the boys and his dad were able to catch some fish in the on site lakes (ponds)
Pitches on the tent field are a little sloped but loads of room, we had hard standing in the new area which was level and the old caravan area looked good too.
One tip if camping in the metered ehu areas. If going in weather unlikely to require heating, pay for a £1 or £2 electric card only. You can always get more if you need it, but apart from heating, the meter hardly moves and all of our ehu had money left on from previous campers too.
Worth going back to if we can find more to do in the local areas.

Had a trip planned to Worcester and decided that we'd camp so did a quick search for sites that were happy to take large tents (Hartford XL).
We spoke to the guy on the phone who was very helpful and so we decided to book.
We arrived late on Friday night and were ask whether we wanted to camp in the field (literally a large open area with nothing in it), or in the compound where the facilities were. We're new without too much equipment so we decided to be nearer the facilities.
We were shown to a nice spot under a tree to pitch our tent. It's quite a small area with mixed caravans, tents, statics but fairly well spaced out.
The toilet blocks sit in the middle of the compound so are within easy access no matter where you pitch your tent. They were clean with lots of hot water for the showers (20p for 5 mins. And 5 minutes is longer than you think!). They also have a small room adjacent to the shower blocks with washing machine, tumble drier, sinks.
The Bell Inn up the road does reasonable food, although the service wasn't up to much. It's more of a drive than a walk, and something on site would have been mich nicer, but not all sites have the room for a pub!
In fact the site doesn't have anything else really, nothing for the kids to do except run around in the fields. That said, it's only a 5 min drive into town where you've got the racetrack, the river and the shops.
It looks likes there is some expansion going on as the site had a couple of diggers in the field and new hard pitches being laid, and the site has a new entrance which hasn't filtered down to all the camping sites yet and some of the maps try to direct you to the old entrance.
Overall it was very quiet, very relaxing and I would be happy to return.

Worcester very nice.
Will visit this site again.
Not very easy to find.
Large pitches,very quiet site,well kept.

We had a taxi to Worcester it cost £8.50. To say that quad bike's run from the site, they did not disturb us.

Very nice site. Large field for tents without EHU, pretty much flat. Field with caravans and EHU seemed full to capacity, but still nice and quiet. Facilities clean and tidy, although floor in toilets/showers would have benefited from a mop, and it would be useful if there was a hairdryer. Lots of hot water and good washing up facilities. Great site if you've got a dog. Lots of fields to walk them on. Pub about 3 mins drive away, serving good food at a fair price.
Friendly owners, always seemed to be about making sure everything was OK. No kids with us, so can't really comment about facilities for them, but the children that were there, seemed to be enjoying themselves on their bikes and playing games on the grass.
Plenty to see and do in the area. Maybe more information about the area could be provided i.E. Local walks etc, but I'm sure owners would be happy to help if you requested any information.
Would happily return.

Lovely family orientated site, quiet site in the middle of nowhere but as that was what we wanted it was perfect for us. The staff went above and beyond for us even fixing our burst airbed!
Pitches were ample sized fully serviced and we were given a lovely plot under the trees which was a godsend as it was a really hot weekend. Facilities block was adequate for our needs and the shop supplied ice creams, cold drinks etc. There is a local Tesco Express a short drive away for your groceries etc.

Fantastic site with plenty of space for tents and also for a game of cricket which we enjoyed during the afternoon!
The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it was nice to be treated as normal human beings and not hooligans even though we were 12 males under 30 yrs of age.
The food was okay, but although we were told the pub was a walk away, I'd advise a car as the hill is quite steep. 10 min walk or 2 mins drive. The local pub opened from 9am serving breakfast on a Sunday and had a good selection of evening meals & a nice beer garden.
Only a couple of miles from the very pretty Worcester but in a nice quiet area.
Toilets and showers clean and tidy, if they had their own bar the site would get top marks.
