Me and my boyfriend were in one tent and my parents and brother were in another so we booked two pitches together.

The directions on the website are not very clear as it takes you to the wrong entrance, anyway after finding the campsite and locating a member of staff to book us in, we were shown to our pitch and told to move our cars away from the tents once settled. After putting up the tents the rain decided to start so we waited for it to stop before settling in.

We were the only ones on this field and behind us, through some bushes were the pitches with electric hook-ups and the toilet/shower block. Shortly after we finished setting up, another group of 4 men (which turned into 7 after the first night) were situated not too far from our tents but far enough away so we could play ball games etc.

Everything was fine, the toilets were clean (although contained a few large insects), the laundry room was great so we were looking forward to our stay. It then got dark and there is no lighting to lead you to the toilets so you feel a bit unsafe if you go on your own. At about 9 the men in the other tents went off to the pub I presume and I was asleep on their return, until they decided to play music at half 3 in the morning full blast from their cars. This led me to get hardly any sleep. The following day after a 20 min drive into Worcester, we returned to find another 3 families pitching next to us, where they had been told to pitch, despite there being a massive empty field.

Overall the campsite could be better lit but has good facilities, however they need better security. There is also a pub nearby and shop.

We chose Peachley because we couldn't get booked in anywhere else as we had left booking for a bank holiday til the wednesday before! Having said that, we were very impressed!

Friendly staff, clean, well maintained site.

A must for us when camping is clean loos and showers and Peachley outshone every other campsite I have visited. The shower block is obviously new, cleaned frequently and a 20p allows you to shower for 5 mins. I certainly do not mind paying for a shower if it is always of this high standard.

We were on what looked like an over flow pitch that was extremely busy with tents close to each other and no where for the children to run about but after initial doubts it turned out ok.

The local Tesco metro was fantastic. It had lots of ice in the freezer despite it being a hot weekend ( a must to keep our beers cold!) and had a large fridge well stocked with cold wine, beer, soft drinks. ( a pattern forming here!)

All in all, a fantastic weekend and if we were to visit this area again we would return to Peachley.

Managed to book 2 pitches with electric for the Bank Holiday weekend 23rd to 25th, asked for pitches close to the amenities, due to disability, they were very accommodating due to the short notice. After booking in we were shown to our pitches, the site looked fairly busy, but we were given plenty of space for a Montana 6 and a Hartford XL tent.
After pitching we decided to find a pub for some food and drink, by the time we returned they had fitted in tents all around us and what seemed spacious pitches at first was now overcrowded. This didn't spoil our weekend and we still had a good time, the amenities looked quite new, but still ran out of hot water.
This is a very nice site and only 4 miles from Worcester. We would return to this site but not on Bank Holidays.

We visited this site because it was not to far away from home on a busy bank holiday weekend. When we arrived on the Friday we was very pleased with the site, there was plenty of campers and space in between pitches. The staff where very helpful and nice.

The showers block was very clean and only cost 20p for a shower but there was plenty of time and hot water. The washing up sinks ran out of hot water very quick and we did have to use the laundry off site because there was not enough machines.

We visited nearby Worcester on the Saturday and had a lovely day. When we returned to the site however it was very full and over crowded. It became very noisy on the night time and lasted until the early hours.

I would visit this site again but not during the holidays or bank holidays.

We found this site clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Toilets and showers were, again, clean and well maintained, although the wash room didn't have much hot water and only one sink.

I think this site would benefit from a designated children's play area, as one night we were playing football near the toilet block and the very next day tents were in the way.

We will be returning in the near future.

We arrived at Peachley and after a brief introduction we were shown to our pitch. Even though the site was very busy you didn't feel as if you had been shoe horned in to make a few extra quid for the owners.
The site is well protected by mother natures idea of perimeter fencing (trees and bushes) and just adds to the relaxing and laid back feel to this site.
The toilet block was spotless and kept to a very good standard, only having to wait to use the shower. There is a cafe on site but we didn't use it but it looked ok. There is also quad biking available but for a family of 4 proved to be a little too pricey.
There is no children's play area but that did not seem to bother our 9 year old as she and other children used their imagination and made up their own games.
There is a Tesco express a short distance down the road which is well stocked and the local pubs provide you with some good food options, my suggestion is try them all. For days out Worcester is the closet place to visit but Bewdley and Stourport are not too far either and provide something for all ages. This was our first time at this site and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. Would we go again, definitely!

A nice pleasant site for adults or those with older children. Visited on the bank hol weekend and the site was busy with the units squeezed in pretty tight but if felt comfortable rather than cramped.

Nicely shaded from the mature trees but still able to sit directly in the sun if you wanted to. The quad bikes added a nice extra dimension to the site and the owners were really friendly and eager to help. We found the other campers really friendly too. We struggled however to get any digital tv coverage and gave up in the end and also had virtually no mobile phone reception. Not the end of the world but a little frustrating.

Impressed by the cleanliness of the shower block and found it busy but never had to wait too long. Cant wait to go back and stay again, will definitely see more of Worcester next time too.

But one warning. Do not follow the sat nav make sure you write down the directions when you book or else you will find yourself in a single lane track.Very hairy for new drivers of campervans!

This review will contain the good, the bad and the ugly.

The good. Fantastic campsite with mature Oak trees, and level pitches. New toilet block with three showers in each section (male / female) as stated all use 20p coins or £1:00 coins (beware the shower starts the second you drop the coin into the slot, so get ready first) The site seemed to be more geared to touring caravans and trailer tents but over this bank holiday weekend lots of tents were 'squeezed in'

The bad. Almost no hot water to the sinks all weekend despite the central heating being on! (it was 23 degrees C outside)

Only one sink available (for the whole site) to wash up in (again no hot water)

I know it's a business but the owners certainly made sure all available space was used up.

A gem of a site, what a find. Lovely welcome when arrived at site. Pitches are large, level and surrounded by lovely trees. Toilet and shower block brilliant, clean, bright and large with hot showers that were 20p for 5mins. There is also disabled facilities with good access.
Complete stress free weekend with plenty to do in the surrounding area, eg quad biking, river trips, walking and cycling. Tesco store about 3-4 miles which was open till 10pm. 6 miles to Worcester town centre. Countryside surrounds you.
Follow the owners directions not the sat nav, it will have you camping in a lane. Will be visiting peachley again very soon.

We booked this site last minute for May Bank Holiday. The site owners were very friendly and led us to our pitch, even helping us to reverse onto it, as we are still novices! The site is well laid out around mature trees and the pitches give you ample space. The toilet / shower block is very modern and even though it was busy we never had to queue.

I agree with earlier reviews that the site would benefit from a children's play area. We did take their bikes with us but the hardcore surface of the pathways was really unsuitable for small children to cycle on.

The reception area sold a limited range of products, including ice-creams and drinks, but we discovered a Tesco Express a 5 min drive away (turn left out of the site and keep going).

We visited the National Trust's Brockhampton estate and Shortwood Family Farm, Pencombe, both nr Bromyard along the A44. We particularly enjoyed the farm, bottle feeding the baby lambs, tractor ride etc.

All in all a very enjoyable stay. We will return.
