Lovely site booked on the basis of the other reviews. Fantastic views, right by the river, we've seen loads of wildlife already.
The site is very well kept, and yes the road noise is slightly intrusive and it does go on all night, but not a major problem.
The one thing the other reviewers fail to mention is that the really isn't enough facilities for the site. The gents has 1 toilet, 2 urinals and 2 showers in a tiny block. The ladies fair a little better. So for me it's a shame, had it had a larger block it would have been 10 stars.

Just returned from a 4 day stay on this lovely site. The weather could have been better but 2 out of 4 nice days was better than forecast. We were pitch facing the river so we could see the boats going up and down. Although there was traffic noise this did not spoil our stay. The owners were very helpful, the showers and site were spotless. Also nice this is adult only site, I love kids, got enough of my own/grandchildren but nice to come away from it all. OH went fishing in the lake (one of the reasons we picked this site) although he did not catch anything others did. We will return to this site so he can enjoy fishing the river. All in all a little gem of a site.

Just returned from a short break at this fantastic site. We were parked up along side the river and all of its boats and wildlife. We had a warm welcome and was told of the nearby shops and public house within walking distance. The toilets and showers were A1 and the site was spotless. We cannot wait to visit this site again.

Enjoyed a 3 night stay at this lovely campsite. Delightful setting on the river, very well maintained site with very clean toilet block and friendly attentive staff. The garage opposite has a good selection of goods in its shop, food and non food. We cycled and drove to the nearest pubs, and had a great day at both Thetford Forest on the mountain bike trails, and the beautiful Gooderstone Water Gardens were a delight. Highly recommend this site.

What a lovely site clean and tidy and very friendly staff.
We were lucky to be close to the river which gave a lovely view across the fields ( until the campervans parked in front of all the caravans, we really feel that this needs to be addressed or at least get them to park front on thus reducing their impact on everyone elses views. )
Toilets / Showers were again always clean and tidy. We did however feel that charging 50p per shower was a bit over the top as we were paying £17 per night.
Alas the local pub just over 1 mile away was not our cup of tea and they had no ales on, always a let down in a country pub. To be fair they did explain that it went off before they sold it and did have bottles to try and compensate.
All in all a great site and looking forward to visiting again soon

We stayed Monday to Friday so we were able to choose from a number of pitches. All pitches were level and very spacious. From booking to leaving the site managers were relaxed, friendly, welcoming and helpful. The toilet / shower blocks are modern and spotlessly clean. Showers are token operated, 50p each from reception, this gives you a good 10 minutes. Grange farm is an ideal site for exploring. Thetford Forest, Downham Market and Ely are a short drive away, all have free parking and no height restrictions. The pub in Stoke Ferry appears to have closed so we didn't find a pub within walking distance. We loved this site and will definitely stay again. The only annoyance was the close proximity of a pretty busy road, however after a while you don't really notice it.

This is our first visit to this site. Although it was was near the main road it did not intrude with the site. Being next to the river was just great.
Very clean tidy and well run site.
Enjoyed a relaxing stay, facilities were immaculate.
We were made to feel at home and it was a very friendly atmosphere.
My Husband enjoyed the Fishing in the lake, plenty of fish.
We also liked to sit and watch the long boats go up and down the river. Would recommend to anyone.

We have just spent one night at Grange Farm. Everything was exactly as every one has said before. The site location alongside the river is very pleasant. We didn't use the facilities on site but my wife had a look round and said they were very clean and pleasant looking.
The library is quite some thing. I expected a couple of dusty shelfs with faded paper backs. This a small building with books all properly organised in order, magazines and local information. This reflects on the rest of the site because that is neatly organised as well.
We will go back and check the walk along the river to the village. It looks like it would be a nice walk in the summer. The lack of a shop on site is not an issue. The garage/small supermarket acros the road looked well stocked. Oxburgh hall is a very near to the site. We had lunch there on the Sunday. From our part of Lincolnshire this is easy to get to but close enough to the rest of Norfolk to make it a good base to tour from. Due to this being a small site it would be advisable to book before you go. The site owners said they are quickly booked up in summer.

A truly wonderful site for a relaxing holiday. As soon as you arrive you are made to feel very welcome.
The site is so well looked after, the showers and toilet block are immaculate.
We were parked next to the river, what a lovely spot that was. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to go again.
Definitely recommend a visit, the walk along the river is so nice too. It is an adult site which is very nice for those of us who want a quiet break.
There is a little traffic noise but certainly did not disturb us at all.

What a find - in a word brilliant.
Adult only site, campervan pitches are right next to the river with a clear view over the fields. Welcome on arrival was 10/10 - one of the friendliest and most welcoming sites we have visited.
The site is well kept, pitches all have ehu. Grass pitches but well draining and well cut grass.
Toilets / showers looked a bit old from outside - inside they are refurbished, clean, warm and the piped music is a nice touch. Showers are 50p for 10 minutes and they have good water pressure and plenty of hot water.
The village is a 10-15 minutes stroll along the riverbank. A small shop and takeaway plus a post office. Directly outside site is a garage / Mace selling bread, newspapers, cakes etc.
The information hut holds the biggest book lending library I have ever seen on a site. There is a laundry room and also chem disposal. Motorhomes / campers can dump water of a drainage area.
A bit of road noise in the day - faded to nothing during the night.
Nearest town Market Downham about 6 miles away. Market town with 2 supermarkets. On Friday the outdoor market has fresh fish, butchers, bread, fruit etc - well worth stocking up with great fresh produce. Plenty of nice shops to wander around and plenty of free parking (no height barriers on supermarkets for campervan).
We paid £15 for 2 adults per night with ehu. Absolute bargain for what we would say is one of the best sites we have stayed on - thanks to the people who run it, location and spotless facilities.
